    Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Manchester City

Pep Guardiola is very animated on the sidelines waving them forwards, forwards. Just like that!

David Silva tees up Benjamin Mendy on the overlap, the left-back gives it the full gun and it thwacks against the bar and away.

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Manchester City

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

Pep Guardiola is not happy. He wants his team to go wider and quicker. He is clearly frustrated, he's such a perfectionist.

It's the first Man City shot on target but was not exactly going to put the goalkeeper under any sort of pressure.

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Decent from Norwich again, finding space inside the area but Emi Buendia has an effort deflected up and over the top.

Chris Waddle can do what he likes in my book, an absolute gem of a player.

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Manchester City

Get onside man! Sergio Aguero wins the ball back but Riyad Mahrez runs well ahead of him. Aguero has to toe-poke the ball on goal and that's at least a shot on target. Easy save though.

Spurs used to look so fit under Poch ... this lethargic play under 'The Not Special One' will cost us.

Man C's kit reminds me of a bad trifle I had one Xmas. More like a custard sandwich.

James: Is Michael Oliver refereeing a different game? How can he give a yellow card to someone who SLIPPED and put his hand in the natural position to stop himself then accidentally touching the ball with his hand.

Robert Perrin: Loving the #MCFC ice pop kit

John Collins: I think the City kit looks like pear drops.

The first half of City's game last midweek was pretty slow going as well and that eventually came good. Keep the faith.

Here's the best chance of that first half.
