Oliver Skipp runs on to the loose ball on the edge of the area and blams it well over the top. Spurs are pretty unconvincing going forwards so far tonight.

Sheeno: So good to have old football back. Replay shows he’s slightly off. Commentator says he’s just about on. Everyone gets on with their lives.

VAR would have ruled that City goal out if it was at the Etihad.

    Leicester 0-0 Birmingham

Extra time at Leicester? James Maddison is free on the left but takes a touch too much and runs into traffic, Kelechi Iheanacho manages to dig out a shot but it's topped into the deck and an easy save. Leicester well on top since the break though.

Has Pep Guardiola read the riot act at half-time?

Manchester City are a different animal this half - they've come out snapping and snarling and they now have the lead.

Their fans greeted that like it had won the Champions League. The FA Cup doesn't matter? Try telling that to the 5,000 who have travelled over for this.

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Manchester City

Sergio Aguero is now the outright leading goalscorer of all Premier League players in 2019-20, netting 23 goals in all competitions.

Since he joined Manchester City in 2011, Aguero has netted 20 FA Cup goals in just 22 games in the competition, the most of any player.

  9. CLOSE!published at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2020

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Norwich have a free-kick on the edge of the area and Mario Vrancic clips it onto the roof of the net. Michel Vorm was getting nowhere near that.

    Martin Keown

Fernando Forestieri has done well I think, I wouldn't have been taking him off. But I am a commentator and not a manager.

Steven Fletcher has a point to prove.

Sergio Aguero finally comes off the marker and gets the ball to feet. Benjamin Mendy sees it early and slots the ball into him. He takes a touch away from the defender on to his left foot and while the goalkeeper gets a strong hand to his shot the ball loops into the air and agonisingly for the home supporters just trickles over the line.

  12. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2020

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Half chances at either end as first Tottenham sub Gedson Fernandes and then Lukas Rupp both have a shy, but there's no joy.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2020

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Manchester City

Steven Fletcher is on for Wednesday, Pep actually goes out of his way to come down the touchline and have a word with the targetman. Probably enjoyed his loan spell at Marseille.

  14. 'The keeper should keep it out'published at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2020

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Manchester City

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

City are just relentless, they just keep moving the ball. Wildsmith gets a hand to it, but it's just Aguero. The strikers are so close to each other, I think he's just about onside. It's lovely approach play. The goalkeeper needs a stronger hand there for me. Having got there he should keep it out.

Aguero slots Manchester City into the lead

Pep ordered a goal at half-time and Sergio Aguero delivers inside 10 minutes. It was coming!

Benjamin Mendy finds Aguero inside the area, he lets off a shot nice and early with his left foot, Joe Wildsmith gets a big hand on it but can only watch as the ball loops up and into the back of the net.

VAR may have decided Aguero was a nadge offside but there's no VAR here so they can't.

Chance for Leicester and Jonny Evans should do better. He's free at a set-piece but balloons a header well over the top. 50p head.

That's better from City, more energy. Benjamin Mendy just cut loose, there was no hesitation and he smashed it against the bar.
