HT: Hearts 0-2 Hamilton Accies

Hamilton are half-way there to making history.
Marios Ogkmpoe with both goals - the first looked suspiciously sent off, no doubt about the second as he was felled in the box and he dispatched confidently from the penalty spot. Hamilton by far the better team, Hearts looked all over the place.
Hearts have only found a way back into this game after Jamie Hamilton was sent off for handling the ball at the edge of the area.
Steven Naismith has gone closest with a header, but the harsh truth is that the home side have failed to hit back despite the extra man advantage.
Be in no doubt, this is a major moment in the Scottish Premiership season at the bottom of the table. Hearts need to find a response. If it stays the same Hamilton will have their first win here in over four decades, and - more importantly - will end the day with a four point lead over Hearts.
Hearts manager Daniel Stendel has quite a half-time team talk on his hands, does he not? They have pinned Accies back...but only once they were two goals down after 16 minutes and playing against 10 men following Jamie Hamilton's dismissal after 21 minutes. Hamilton have defended superbly and up front they have Marios Ogkmpoe targeting a hat-trick.
It was a slow start to this game, but St Johnstone have turned this into a game worth watching.
Despite the grim conditions and stodgy pitch, Tommy Wright's side have managed to play some really nice football and Stevie May has given them a deserved lead at the break.
County looking a bit toothless, and St Johnstone just seem to want it more.

Quote MessageIt is classic Steven Naismith ghosting in, he really should have got it on target but his header is just past Southwood's post
Hearts 0-2 Hamilton
Moments before the Ikpeazu chance, Hearts captain Steven Naismith sneaks in at the back of a Hamilton defender and rises well to head Andy Irving's probing cross but, with Luke Southwood beaten, it drifts agonisingly past the post.
Hearts 0-2 Hamilton
Hearts are knocking on the door here but 10-man Hamilton are keeping them at bay. Uche Ikpeazu sees his effort deflected for a corner.
The home fans inside Tynecastle roar their side on in search of a goal before the break.
Hearts 0-2 Hamilton
Two half chances for the men in maroon as they try to find a way back into this bottom-of-the-table tussle. Sean Clare crosses for Jamie Walker but the speedy winger's header from 16 yards is never going to trouble Luke Southwood, and the English goalie is able to flop on to a weak shot by Walker a moment later.
Stevie May
They've got what they deserve, and it's a lovely goal.
Stevie May picks up the ball, plays a one-two with strike partner Chris Kane before firing past Laidlaw into the bottom corner.

Quote MessageHearts have it all to do if they are going to get themselves off the foot of the table
Ross County 0-0 St Johnstone
David Wotherspoon has just put an effort wide when he really should have scored after a cut-back to the edge of the box. County could do with half-time already.

Quote MessageWhat a save from Luke Southwood with a strong hand on it getting it wide and away from the target then Uche Ikpeazu fires over the top
Hearts 0-2 Hamilton
Uche Ikpeazu doesn't need to jump too high to get on the end of a lofted ball in to the Accies six-yard box, but his header is well saved by Luke Southwood and the big Hearts striker can't profit from the rebound.
Ross County 0-0 St Johnstone
Stevie May opts to have a go from a 30-yard free-kick. Probably the wrong decision. Fired wide.

Quote MessageThat is a poor mistake from the youngster, maybe it catches the wind but for me it looks like it is the correct decision
