Curtis Main, has possession wide left, but instead of waiting for support he flashes a hopeful drive from distance and Fraser Forster gathers comfortably at his near post.
Referee Andrew Dallas keeps up with play before, inadvertently, becoming involved as he gets in the way of an Aberdeen attack.
It's a bounced ball for the hosts but Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is onto the ball in a flash and the Dons fail to profit.

Celtic captain Scott Brown attempts to latch onto the ball after a clever dummy by Odsonne Edouard but Aberdeen's defence mop up the danger.
The hosts then roar forward and a mistake by Kristoffer Ajer almost creates a chance for the Dons but Celtic recover.
In truth, both sides are struggling for fluency amid the high winds.

We're still tied at 1-1 early in the second half.

Quote MessageI would suggest Celtic need to look to their midfield and try to get some control. They've got two strikers on but there hasn't been any service to them. I think if Tom Rogic or Ryan Christie came on that would cause Aberdeen a problem or two

Kyle: Brilliant response from Aberdeen after the opening goal. Hopefully they keep up this level of performance in the second half. For the good of the title race, I really hope Aberdeen get at least a draw today. They have been excellent so far.

Callum McGregor broke the deadlock in the 10th minute but Ash Taylor restored parity with a stunning strike.
It makes for a fascinating second half at Pittodrie.

It's all square in the Pittodrie sunshine at the break. Callum McGregor's predatory finish gave Celtic the lead but the Dons came roaring back through Ash Taylor's superb effort.
Derek McInnes raced down the touchline on the cusp of half-time, clearly eager to speak to his troops about his second-half tactical plans.
For Celtic, Neil Lennon will be expecting more from the lethargic visitors after the break.

It's been a frustrating first half for Leigh Griffiths. The Celtic striker has been feeding on scraps and is booked by referee Andrew Dallas for some incessant chatter after conceding a free kick.
Aberdeen defender Ash Taylor is booked seconds later for a foul on Odsonne Edouard.

Celtic have been unable to get the ball into the feet of Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths, That's partly down to inaccurate passing but also alert Aberdeen defending. The Dons appear determined to avoid a Celtic goal blizzard like that they suffered last October.
