Daniel Cheng: Erm why hasn't Martinelli come on yet? He'd provide the urgency and energy this game needs right now.

I've backed Arteta all the way, and will continue to, but I can't understand this bizarre treatment of Martinelli. He was playing brilliantly. Why can't he get a kick!?

That Fred goal gives the scoreline a more accurate reflection of how the game has gone.

I've seen a Jesse Lingard assist in the flesh - one to tell the grandkids about.

    Fred

    Icing. On. The. Cake.

Nice work from Jesse Lingard as he pulls the ball back unselfishly for Fred when he could have gone for goal and the midfielder sidefoots into the empty net.

Harry Maguire fancies getting in on the scoring and why not? Manchester United are coasting through now. Unfortunately, Maguire's 25 yard shot is blocked on the edge of the box by a Club Bruge defender.

Nick Rodely: Absolutely delighted Odion Ighalo scored for us tonight. You can see how much it genuinely means to him to be playing for United. Love him already.

Steve Pearson: Fernandez is only been at utd 5 minutes and he's looking like a special player already. Top drawer.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:34 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2020

    Arsenal 0-1 Olympiakos (1-1 agg)

Just over 75 minutes gone and Arsenal have a shot on target. Unlucky not to result in a goal as well as Granit Xhaka clips a great pass across the box for Nicolas Pepe, who works a bit of space for himself before firing a low shot that Jose Sa does well to keep out.

    Better!

"Sums it up, that" says a United fan near me as Jesse Lingard's 20-yard shot is hopelessly wide.

There were more laughs than anything else. Easy to laugh when you're 3-0 up to be fair.
