  1. CLOSE!published at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2020

    Paris St-Germain 2-0 Borussia Dortmund (Agg 3-2)

Close, closer... Julian Brandt again with the Dortmund shot from 18 yards, chocking big deflection on it and it loops up onto the roof of the net.

A Dortmund goal would take us to extra time...

Juan: If Simeone knocks Liverpool out, is this a bigger upset than winning a league against Barca and Real Madrid? It might not be a title, but for me it is.

Harry: I don't think the Shrewsbury game was this one sided.

Paul: Mohamed Salah hasn't been at his best at all tonight. Lost the ball too many times or picked the wrong option. Will probably score the winner now.

Liverpool 1-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 1-1)

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been brilliant all night but that's his first error, overhitting a pass on the edge of the area and it goes out.

A few jeers and whistles now as Atleti keep the ball for a bit. Into the last 15 minutes.

  4. CLOSE!published at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2020

    Paris St-Germain 2-0 Borussia Dortmund (Agg 3-2)

Dortmund have 18 minutes to score in Paris and that's a good move, they patiently draw some space out wide and it's pulled back for Julian Brandt. He has time and space on the edge of the area but his shot is a bit of a duff, pulled wide of the near post.

This game is still buzzing all over the place, it's relentless really. Jan Oblak has another string to his bow as he comes out 16 yards to catch a high ball upfield.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2020

Liverpool 1-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 1-1)

Jan Oblak again! Trent Alexander-Arnold lines up a fizzer from about 25 yards, cuts across it a touch as well and Oblak makes a flying save. It came right through a defender just in front of the keeper too to make it even more impressive.

Who's on the loose change? Andy Robertson. His shot is charged down. The Kop is reaching max volume. They'll need a Nigel Tufnel 11 if they get a second goal.

  9. Atletico still a threatpublished at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2020

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Liverpool may be sensing something in front of an expectant Kop but Atleti have delivered a couple of sharp reminders of just how dangerous they can be.

No joy for the old streetfighter Diego Costa tonight. Looks a spent force - but I'll let someone else tell him that.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2020

Liverpool 1-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 1-1)

How has that stayed out?! Andrew Robertson gallops forwards to join in, Mo Salah's ball across is deflected and loops up invitingly, the Scot goes in for the header from only about six yards out but under heavy pressure. It's not a clean contact and hits the bar and bounces away...

Since Diego Costa has gone off Atleti have become a lot more dangerous. Joao Felix has been able to find a lot more space because he’s got more movement in front of him. Liverpool's defenders are being dragged about which Costa wasn’t able to do. It is causing Liverpool a few more problems.

Saul goes for a Xabi Alonso, the shot from inside his own half! Not a bad effort either, it had the legs but was always a few yards wide.

Liverpool 1-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 1-1)

Adrian! Oooof that wasn't brilliant from the Liverpool stand-in, he's slow to get down to Joao Felix's shot and palms it out, a tame effort too. Angel Correa hares on to it but Adrian recovers well to get up and smother it at his feet.

An Atletico goal would throw a huge cat amongst the pigeons.

  16. Postpublished at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2020

Liverpool 1-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 1-1)

I'm disappointed to see Diego Costa come off, to be honest. Here's a free-kick for Liverpool now, just outside the area.

Trent Alexander-Arnold bends in a brilliant ball, it's between defence and goalkeeper and Gini Wijnaldum is there and guess what - it's another save for Jan Oblak!

  17. 'Liverpool need to find Firmino'published at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2020

Liverpool 1-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 1-1)

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm beginning to see why Firmino isn't scoring many goals this season.

Normally, you'd expect a team to play it into their striker in the box. He won't complain about it, but sometimes you've got to make the effort find your striker especially when he's found space.

  18. ouch!

Change for the visitors as Diego Simeone gives Diego Costa the hook, and on comes Marcos Llorente.

Costa is not happy, far from it. He kicks the water bottles into the air and the Anfield crowd love that.

It's been largely Borussia Dortmund since the restart but here's a chance for PSG as Angel di Maria fizzes a free-kick around the wall and Roman Burki makes a flying save.

Horace: Mohammed Salah should really be doing better from that position.
