  1. Postpublished at 24mins

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

Rangers have been knocking on the door without creating clear-cut chances, but that was one there.

Borna Barisic swings in a dangerous cross and Alfredo Morelos, having given Liam Fontaine a weak nudge in the back, has a clear sight at goal from 12 yards but heads wastefully wide.

Had it gone in, he might have been pulled up for a foul anyway, but the visitors are getting closer.

    Quote Message

The play so far has suited Ross County. They're able to sit back in their shape, contain and they have had a good short spell with a few corners. It's up to Rangers to lift that intensity

Steven Davis makes a brilliant 50-yard pass to start the move. It falls to Glen Kamara - he should have hit it first time. You're not going to get three or four touches to walk it in the net. Good pressure from Rangers though

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 15mins

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

Good pressure from Rangers and they are denied twice by goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw.

Ryan Kent cuts in and fires in a low drive that Laidlaw parries with his legs, Glen Kamara pounces but is unable to get a shot away under pressure from a sea of County legs and Alfredo Morelos follows up but finds his shot blocked again by the goalkeeper from point-blank range.

Iain Vigurs gave him a hospital ball there. Polster was there in a flash and Liam Fontaine has to clean him out and pick up a yellow card, but it was poor from Vigurs

  7. Postpublished at 10mins

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

Matt Polster is on hand to clear from in front of his own goal as County forward Ross Stewart's head is found at a corner.

  8. Postpublished at 8mins

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

County have worked themselves into the game and George Edmundson has to head clear for a corner at the front post after a dangerous Josh Mullin cross.

    Quote Message

Ross County are dropping back, not pressuring Rangers and hitting them on the counter-attack. Rangers are using their width more efficiently so far though - Ryan Kent has given them that width

  10. Postpublished at 4mins

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

Connor Goldson was at fault in midweek, being robbed on the edge of his own penalty box for Hamilton's winner, and the Rangers centre-half dallies in similar fashion before hastily and awkwardly clearing.

  11. GOOD SAVE!published at 1min

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

Rangers start well and threaten almost immediately.

The ball falls to Glen Kamara 20 yards from goal and the midfielder's powerful drive is beaten away by goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw.

    Quote Message

Ross County can produce a result out of nowhere - they are capable. If not the back four, that midfield five will need to work their socks off to get anything out of this game. I expect Rangers to be aggressive

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:00 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2020

We're under way in Dingwall, with County in their traditional all blue and Rangers in their change strip of all red...

Can either side change their fortunes today?

  14. Relegation battle 'going to the wire' - Fergusonpublished at 11:59 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2020

    Ross County v Rangers (12:00)

Ross County manager Steven Ferguson tells BBC Scotland: "We were always aware for us to stay in the Premiership, it was going to go to the wire.

"After today, we don't play another top-six team in the remaining games and we've done well against the bottom side. If we go about our business properly, we will be fine.

"It is a massive challenge today. A lot has been made of their recent results, but they are a quality side."

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

Rangers are up against players of the month Billy Mckay, the Northern Ireland striker who scored five goals last month and he has been lauded by former assistant boss Billy Dodds.

    Quote Message

He works channels, scores goals and will cause problems for any defence. He loves scoring goals and, if Rangers' defence, which have not been playing well, are not at it, he will cause them problems. This could put relegation to bed, so this is massive for County

  17. Rangers need 'courage and bravery'published at 11:55 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2020

    Ross County v Rangers (12:00)

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard expects his team to react to recent defeats.

"We've got good players, good players react," he tells Sky Sports. "We've had injuries in the past 24 hours - Jermain Defoe and James Tavernier came out of training, Ryan Jack as well, his knee swelled up.

"It'll be an interesting game, but we believe we've still got enough to get the job done today if we play with courage and bravery."

Asked if there is more focus on this game because of recent losses to Hearts and Hamilton, Gerrard said: "Yes. You've got to get on with it, put the shoulders back and accept the responsibility of playing for Rangers, show that you're bold enough."

  18. Rangers reign at Victoria Parkpublished at 11:53 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2020

    Ross County v Rangers (12:00)

To beat Rangers this afternoon, County have to make history.

The Glasgow side have never lost at Victoria Park in seven visits.

Indeed, Rangers have won their latest five meetings with County, three of them in Dingwall.

    Quote Message

I think Steven Gerrard has already made his mind up. He put a lot of trust in these players and he's found out it is too much for a lot of them. Morelos is a quality player, but the money Rangers will get for him is diminishing and I don't think he will be at Ibrox next season

How are you going to catch Celtic if you have players like Morelos who continually let you down? Goldson has made mistakes. So it is not about the depth of Rangers' squad but about looking at your main characters
