    Rangers have been knocking on the door without creating clear-cut chances, but that was one there.

    Borna Barisic swings in a dangerous cross and Alfredo Morelos, having given Liam Fontaine a weak nudge in the back, has a clear sight at goal from 12 yards but heads wastefully wide.

    Had it gone in, he might have been pulled up for a foul anyway, but the visitors are getting closer.

    Steven Davis makes a brilliant 50-yard pass to start the move. It falls to Glen Kamara - he should have hit it first time. You're not going to get three or four touches to walk it in the net. Good pressure from Rangers though

    Ryan Kent cuts in and fires in a low drive that Laidlaw parries with his legs, Glen Kamara pounces but is unable to get a shot away under pressure from a sea of County legs and Alfredo Morelos follows up but finds his shot blocked again by the goalkeeper from point-blank range.

    Iain Vigurs gave him a hospital ball there. Polster was there in a flash and Liam Fontaine has to clean him out and pick up a yellow card, but it was poor from Vigurs

    Ross County are dropping back, not pressuring Rangers and hitting them on the counter-attack. Rangers are using their width more efficiently so far though - Ryan Kent has given them that width

    Ross County can produce a result out of nowhere - they are capable. If not the back four, that midfield five will need to work their socks off to get anything out of this game. I expect Rangers to be aggressive

    "After today, we don't play another top-six team in the remaining games and we've done well against the bottom side. If we go about our business properly, we will be fine.

    "It is a massive challenge today. A lot has been made of their recent results, but they are a quality side."

    Rangers are up against players of the month Billy Mckay, the Northern Ireland striker who scored five goals last month and he has been lauded by former assistant boss Billy Dodds.

    He works channels, scores goals and will cause problems for any defence. He loves scoring goals and, if Rangers' defence, which have not been playing well, are not at it, he will cause them problems. This could put relegation to bed, so this is massive for County

    Rangers manager Steven Gerrard expects his team to react to recent defeats.

    "We've got good players, good players react," he tells Sky Sports. "We've had injuries in the past 24 hours - Jermain Defoe and James Tavernier came out of training, Ryan Jack as well, his knee swelled up.

    "It'll be an interesting game, but we believe we've still got enough to get the job done today if we play with courage and bravery."

    Asked if there is more focus on this game because of recent losses to Hearts and Hamilton, Gerrard said: "Yes. You've got to get on with it, put the shoulders back and accept the responsibility of playing for Rangers, show that you're bold enough."

    I think Steven Gerrard has already made his mind up. He put a lot of trust in these players and he's found out it is too much for a lot of them. Morelos is a quality player, but the money Rangers will get for him is diminishing and I don't think he will be at Ibrox next season
