Well then, let's digest that lot!

England captain Harry Kane is a big early casualty - though he did have a very tough draw against Kylian Mbappe, and I'm staggered at the crushing defeat handed out to Gareth Bale.

Romelu Lukaku won just 10% of the vote against David Villa which is also a huge loss. I thought that was a close one. Villa's exploits at the World Cup swaying that one?

And a good effort from Ruud van Nistelrooy to take even 10% of the vote against Cristiano Ronaldo...

Tom Ellerby: It's really harsh putting two great strikers together. Benzema v Berbatov, Zlatan v Schevchenko, Henry v Trezeguet, and in particular, Ronaldo v RVN. Whoever loses in those ties, it will be harsh on them!

Brian Barrett: Being objective it has to be Ronaldo. Length of time at the top, goals scored, influence on his teams and match outcomes, trophies won. On virtually every metric that you measure against, he will be top or top 3. Love that Larsson is on the list too

  18. Match 16published at 10:02 British Summer Time 4 June 2020

    Raul v Fernando Torres

A Spanish shootout! With 82 international goals between them this should be a close one...

    RaulImage source, PA Media

Raul is a Real Madrid legend. He was the youngest player to represent the great club when he made his debut in the 1994-95 season and won the Champions League three times - scoring in two finals.

He scored 323 goals for the giants and was record goalscorer until a certain Ronaldo popped up...

    League goals: 256

    Champions League goals: 71

Torres scores winning goal in Euro 2008 final

Fernando Torres had an 18-month, maybe two-year spell at Liverpool when he could do no wrong. Scored every sort of goal from every possible angle - a wonderful player to watch in his pomp.

He never hit the same heights at Chelsea but still came up big to score a crucial goal in the semi-final of the Champions League.

Won the Euros twice, the World Cup, the Champions League and the Europa League. Nice.

    League goals: 188

    Champions League goals: 20

  19. Match 15published at 09:57 British Summer Time 4 June 2020

    Miroslav Klose v Robert Lewandowski

Two sons of Poland face off in this tie. Both absolutely prolific in front of goal...

    50 Great World Cup moments: Miroslav Klose's record-breaking 16 goals - 2014

Miroslav Klose was indeed born in Poland but famously made his name in the white shirt of Germany - particularly when it came to the World Cup. Quite simply he has scored more goals at the World Cup than any other man, with 16. And he's also Germany's record goalscorer with 71. Seventy-one!

    League goals: 175

    Champions League goals: 14

    Robert LewandowksiImage source, PA Media

Robert Lewandowski is arguably the best number nine in world football at the moment, and is also his nation's record scorer, with 61 goals for Poland.

He's on 43 goals for the current rebooted season in Germany and is a goal machine. Just needs a Champions League win.

    League goals: 231

    Champions League goals: 64
