Omission of Eto'o is criminal; goal to game ratio comparable with the very best, despite adapting to play a more defensive role at Inter and loss of pace with age.
Benjy
Sadly, he's not European Benjy...

David: As a MUFC fan, I feel that Shearer’s choice to go to Newcastle instead of us, will cost him in this. At United, he would have scored so many more domestic and European goals, and would have won countless individual and team honours too.
David Villa v Diego Costa
The footballer has been given a €543,208 (£485,324) fine for tax fraud but will not serve prison time.
But will he beat David Villa in your vote?!
The Atletico Madrid forward is fined €543,208 (£485,324) for defrauding the state of over €1m.

David Melton: Having just watched the pointless clip, I’m voting for Henrik Larsson.
That's the spirit David! Brilliant clip isn't it. A few of us in the BBC Sport canteen watched that 'live' and loved it.

Grant Miller: Kris Boyd scored about 100 more goals in the 21st Century than Larsson. Must be raging.
Sheva was outstanding. I was sure he'd set the Premier League on fire when he finally signed.
He didn't.

Abid: How did Ibrahimovic beat Shevchenko in the first round? Shevchenko has won a champions league and has a better goalscoring record than Ibrahimovic. It's a shame that people don't remember how good he was at AC Milan.

We will have to wait another 12 months for Euro 2020 but the BBC is going to make sure you still get your tournament fix this summer.
For three weeks from 6 June to 28 June, join Gary Lineker, Gabby Logan and Mark Chapman for Euros Rewind, as we bring you a series of classic European Championship group matches, followed by some of the tournament's iconic knockout games.
You can enjoy the magic of Zinedine Zidane, the brilliance of Gareth Bale, Paul Gascoigne in his prime and a scintillating Wayne Rooney - to name just a few.
Classic matches will be available to watch across BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Red Button, BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and mobile app.
For the Jons of this world who keep asking 'where is so-and-so?', you may be pleased to know I've done a team selector for the best XI to play IN ANY EUROS TOURNAMENT.
So keep your eyes peeled for that. Zidane is very much in the mixer.
