Terry Venables certainly has one eye on the quarter-finals now as David Platt, likely to come in for the suspended Paul Ince in the next game, is given a run out as he replaces Ince.

Yellow card for Dennis Bergkamp as he fouls the excellent Steve McManaman. Paul Gascoigne takes the free kick but it goes wide.

Dennis Bergkamp is in but slips as he shoots and the effort is gratefully scooped up by David Seaman.

This is turning into more than a thrashing for the Netherlands. They need to be mindful of goal difference as they are not definitely through yet.
