Quick drinks break. Told my dad about this new introduction. He wasn't impressed. 'Can't they take a drink during a goal kick?'

Not sure that's how it works, dad.

Ismaila Sarr is falling over as his touch is way too heavy. Caglar Soyuncu puts him under pressure and the Watford man goes down, looking at the officials for a penalty.

    Again, absolutely nothing in it.

No goals or Cruyff turns yet. Hmm.

Nigel Pearson is stood with his arms crossed in the dugout. Not much happening at the moment.

Adam Masina makes a good block with his chest. There's a few appeals for a penalty for handball but it's rubbish.

VAR barely gives it a second look.

    Watford 0-0 Leicester

James Maddison hooks a ball long to Jamie Vardy and it's misread by Christian Kabasele.

He gets away with it as Vardy's touch is rusty. A decent run though and the Leicester striker looks sharp on his toes!

The TV crowd-noise DJ has not moved the audio from "general background noise" to "excitable home end" yet which is an indication of the action so far.

    Watford 0-0 Leicester

That was the first real chance. You can tell this is the first game back for these teams but Leicester are definitely starting to settle.

Ben Chilwell makes a really good run forward down the left and he almost tees up Jamie Vardy at the near post.

Craig Dawson gets a really important toe-in. The resulting corner is smashed away by Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Roberto Pererya tries to find Abdoulaye Doucoure with a knock-down in the box but it's well cleared by Leicester.

A nice, little chipped ball in from Will Hughes.

    Watford 0-0 Leicester

Spell of possession for Leicester here. They're just trying to find their stride. Caglar Soyuncu, aka Bilbo Baggins, slices a pass out wide.

Craig Dawson has to go for a jog down the sidelines to retrieve the ball in the absence of any ball girls or boys.

Bit of rustiness early on. A sloppy pass gifts the ball to Marc Albrighton and Etienne Capoue then bundles over Youri Tielemans.

Corner for Watford... it's aimed at Christian Kabasele but James Justin does well to nod it away.

Here come the players. BT Sport are offering a 360-degree camera view of the game, as well as the enhanced television crowd noise.

All very techy. I'm with Brendan, this is football in its 'purest form'. I just want a few goals and some Cruyff turns.
