This is Brendan Rodgers' 200th Premier League match as a manager. He is the second Northern Irishman to reach this landmark, after Martin O'Neill (359).

Jamie Vardy has netted 99 goals in 202 Premier League appearances. Vardy can become the 29th player to reach a century of PL goals, and the 15th player to score 100 PL goals for a single club.

    It's also Vardy's 300th game for Leicester.

I've enjoyed the crowd noise. Often when the football is on I'm also doing something else. So I'm only half-watching the game. The crowd noise definitely helps me keep up with the flow of the game. And know when to pay full attention as an attack builds or for a replay.

  5. 'It will be competitive'published at 12:15 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Watford v Leicester (12:30 BST)

Watford boss Nigel Pearson speaking to BT Sport: "Our stance as a club was always to give the players an opportunity to make choices based on how they felt. It has paid dividends because the players are all here and available. I have been very pleased with how they approach a very different set of circumstances.

"It is going to be very different but the players' focus is on our own destiny. That's the biggest thing for us."

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers speaking to BT Sport: "Football has dealt with it so well. I've always felt that from the first day I came in and saw the measures put in place.

"It will still be competitive on the field. When the whistle goes the players will be ready. The players have been outstanding in their approach and attitude to training so hopefully we can demonstrate that."

If Sheff Utd were to miss out on European football, due to the goal that wasn't. Is there any chance of the team that qualified over them, doing a Bielsa and acknowledging their win ?

We've had four games now so we're starting to get the gist of how Premier League football works.

There's been temperature checks for the media, players were wearing face masks when they arrived, there's 'fan walls' on our television screens of those watching at home on Zoom and huge banners have covered the empty seats at Vicarage Road.

It's still a bit weird though isn't it? I'm a fan of the television-enhanced audio but I do like hearing the players communicate. It gives you a better idea of the intensity of the game.

I am going for Leicester here - I think this is a trickier situation for Watford boss Nigel Pearson than when he took over in December.

He had that initial bounce in results and got some great performances from his players, but can they do that again without any supporters? I am not convinced that they can.

    Watford v Leicester (12:30 BST)

Nigel Pearson is the guy you want when you're trying to avoid relegation, just ask Leicester!

Since he took over at Watford, they have claimed 13 points in six home games, second only to Liverpool's tally of 18 over the same period.

Three of those home wins have been against sides in the top seven.

Watford have only one won in their last seven league games though, but that was that memorable 3-0 win over league leaders Liverpool in February.

In total, Watford have taken 14 points against teams in the top half, opposed to 13 versus bottom-half clubs.

With Leicester sat in third, are they there for the taking?

Leicester played the last Premier League match before it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

That was over 100 days ago.

They finished with a 4-0 win over Aston Villa - Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes both grabbing two goals each.

Can they carry on where they left off?

Long-term absentee Jose Izquierdo is the only player unavailable to head coach Graham Potter.

Granit Xhaka could miss out for Arsenal after picking up an ankle injury in the defeat to Manchester, while Pablo Mari was also taken off on a stretcher in that game.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers on BT Sport: "For some teams the home support is absolutely critical, for others it can be a deterrant. We've seen in Germany in terms of statistics, it's evened out the home advantage a lot.

"It's football in its purest form for players and supporters but the intensity I'm sure will be the same.

"Hopefully today Jamie Vardy gets to 100 Premier League goals. It's an incredible achievement."

Watford manager Nigel Pearson on BT Sport: "Our stance as a club was always to give the players the chance to make choices and it has paid dividends - we didn't get everybody back at the same time but they are all here and available.

"I've been very pleased with how they have approached it. Our focus now is on completing the season and earning enough points to stay up.

"Players are adaptable animals. It is going to be different."
