Still makes me laugh how much of an elite manager's pitchside demeanour remains shouting someone's name and then saying 'come on!'

David Moyes is on brand with some appreciation before the players kneel for Black Lives Matter.

Is that a proper tache from Dele Alli? Magnificent if so.

Jose Mourinho and David Moyes bump forearms and Jose is actually smiling. Beaming in fact. Must have had a nice win in the taxi over here.

All the drama of Star Wars but it's not Darth Maul emerging from the tunnel it's Hugo Lloris and Mark Noble.

The Hammers are close to needing some sort of intervention.

  6. 'It is not just about Kane'published at 20:08 British Summer Time 23 June 2020

Tottenham v West Ham (20:15 BST)

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho to Sky Sports: "I'm very happy with Erik Lamela and his performance against Manchester United. The changes are natural because it's two matches in three days.

"Tonight I am in a privileged position because I have a bench full of good options. With Harry [Kane] it is even more difficult because we are speaking about six months without football. It is not just about Harry, it is about everybody.

"In some specific positions, like the goalkeeper and the striker, I think they need a little bit more times than others to be in great sharpness. I would not be surprised if Harry scores tonight and the headlines tomorrow are different."

West Ham manager David Moyes speaking to Sky Sports: "The benches are really important. Tottenham have got a strong one. We are getting to the stage now where we are starting to see more injuries in the game so I think we'll see more of the importance of the bench in the coming weeks."

Harry Kane makes his 200th Premier League appearance for Spurs. He has netted 136 goals in 199 PL matches for the club. Only Sergio Agüero (138 for Man City) scored as many goals in his first 200 PL appearances for a single club.

White Hart Lane (new) looks in beautiful nick as the sprinklers shut down on this very mild summer night.

Should be an important group game in the Euros or the World Cup tonight, it's got that sort of feeling in the air.

We'll have to make do. The England captain is in action though!

  12. Vertonghen & Vorm extend Spurs staypublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 23 June 2020

Tottenham v West Ham (20:15 BST)

Some news from Tottenham a little earlier on - defender Jan Vertonghen has signed a contract extension until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old Belgium international's previous deal had been set to expire on 30 June.

Vertonghen joined Spurs from Ajax in 2012 and said in April that several clubs had "come forward with serious proposals".

Dutch goalkeeper Michel Vorm, 36, has also agreed to extend his stay with the London club.

Tottenham's final game of the current season, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, is against Crystal Palace on 26 July.

Spurs players who are currently out on loan, including England international Danny Rose at Newcastle, will remain so until the end of their respective 2019-20 campaigns.

Not the greatest game but Brighton have battled away and that's a decent point. They are now six points off the bottom three.

Leicester missing a spark. Only one win in seven.

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

A cross comes in from the right... Jamie Vardy almost gets there but it's cleared. Leicester appeal for a handball. Did it touch Lewis Dunk's arm?

He's out of control when he dives for the ball but it does catch his arm. Would be harsh!

Harvey Barnes tries to find Ayoze Perez at the back post but Dan Burn deals with it really well, hooking it behind for another corner.

He knew exactly where Perez was the whole time.

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

We really needed a goal here but it doesn't look like one is coming. Leicester have probed and have definitely improved since switching to that familiar formation.

But it's gone a bit flat again. Both teams whipping the ball around but not creating any big chances.

Harvey Barnes lifts a ball in from the left. Jamie Vardy almost gets there at the near post but it's deflected wide.
