    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Since Rachel got on his case Harry Kane has come more into the game, linking up well Lucas and Dele Alli on the edge of the area but just as the Brazilian was about to shoot he had the ball taken off his toes.

Kane then flicks a header over after a good ball in from Serge Aurier.

He's warming up Rachel - that was more like it from Harry Kane, control, spin and shot all in one movement and a powerful effort which leaves a pleasing boooommmmm around the empty stadium as it thuds into Lukasz Fabianski's gloves.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 25 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Harry Kane does well to head out a West Ham free-kick and when Spurs break Mark Noble can only haul over Gio lo Celso. It's a booking.

Rachel T: Kane is looking like he hasn’t actually played for six years, rather than six months.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:39 British Summer Time 23 June 2020

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Lucas Moura again! He's been the best player on the field so far and that's a wonderful hit, swerving in with real zip from 25 yards but it's central enough and Lukasz Fabianksi can palm it over.

Drinks break - we haven't had a goal in 139 minutes of Premier League action...

Bresla: Virtual Tottenham faithful in good voice tonight. Clearly up for a London derby under the floodlights.

Scott: I like Davinson Sanchez, but it's painful watching him play football sometimes.

  7. CLOSE!published at 20 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Well a flag was up so that wouldn't have counted but it's a chance worth describing. West Ham chip a free-kick into the box, Michail Antonio snakes out a leg and sees his shot saved by Hugo Lloris, Jarrod Bowen is alive to it and fires in the rebound but it's well charged down. A threat from the Hammers though.

Dele Alli and Harry Kane link up nicely but it's by the corner flag. Not going to score from there lads.

Serge is going to be OK. Some magic sponge action and he'll run it off.

I mean, I presume you're taking the Cobblers' superb comeback last night out of the equation there Senor Caffeine?

But yeah, you've got a point. We've seen a lot of injured defenders and that could be another one, Pablo Fornals is in the book for a nasty lunge on Serge Aurier, who is hurt. That was high.

John Caffeine: Let's face it, most of the games have been garbage so far.

The Jose-David derby will not let us down, John! (Hopefully).

Beautiful pass from Lucas Moura inside the West Ham full-back to find Serge Aurier, and his cross is put out for a corner. Comes to nothing but the pass was brilliant.

    Thumbs up from me.

Brighton have a six-point cushion over the bottom three which in real terms is loads. Norwich, Bournemouth and Villa haven't looked like going on a streak of wins to me.

Jack Wilshere is slumped in his seat on the bench. Another frustrating season for him, wonder where he'll go next? Jarrod Bowen Varneys his way inside and buys a free-kick.

Could do with a goal tonight!

  14. 'We are ready for the fight'published at 20:24 British Summer Time 23 June 2020

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Graham Potter told BBC Sport: "We had to battle, I thought the first half we were really good, carried a threat and reduced a good side to not too much. We defended as a team but I am proud of the performance, endeavour and work rate to keep a clean sheet.

"Sometimes Kasper Schmeichel is good at saving them and it happens in football, you move on. Leicester came back in the second half but we defended the situation well and overall a good point

"It is part of life as a forward, some days it goes for you and others it does not. You have to treat them the same and move on. Neal Maupay is a great character, works hard for the team and he and Aaron Connolly posed a threat.

"Tariq Lamptey is a top boy, he made his debut and carried on with a massive cut. He was outstanding, a great character and good on the ball. He has a big future ahead of him. He has pace, is strong on the ball and will get better.

"We are still fighting, we have to fight all the way. We have to focus on the next match against Manchester United and we can use the time to recover. From the last two games, you can see we are ready for the fight."

Even by my standards this is a niche question, but who is it that Jarrod Bowen runs like? It's doing my head in. Moves in a very similar way.

    Is it Luke Varney?

Nice to see the old hits back, the big sweeping diagonal from the back almost playing in Dele Alli over the top. He's had a rusty year or so, would be great to see him back fully fit and firing.

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

We've seen a few goalie ricks since the resumption and that wasn't too clever, Son putting in a deflected cross from the left and Lukasz Fabianski making a hash of dealing with it. It's cleared away from under his bar but the ball had actually already gone out of play.

  18. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Really good football from West Ham! Jarrod Bowen starts it on the right, nutmegging a man and spreading the play.

It goes left, comes in and Michail Antonio chests it down into the path of Mark Noble. If he had been able to hit that first time we could have been on to something very nice but he tried to dribble into the area and ran out of steam.

  19. 'We'll take a point'published at 20:16 British Summer Time 23 June 2020

    FT: Leicester 0-0 Brighton

    Leicester City

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers speaking to Sky Sports: "I don't think we were very good in the first half. We got into some good positions but didn't have enough movement in front of the ball. In the second half, we were much better, the movement was much better.

"It felt like it was coming but we didn't quite make the final pass. Clean sheet, and for fitness it was really good. We'll take a point.

"Referee Lee Mason tells me it wasn't a penalty [for handball] so I have to believe him.

"We certainly don't have a rhythm yet but we have an outstanding mentality. OK, we haven't won the games but we've shown a good mentality."
