    Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa

    Neil Lennon
    Celtic manager on 5 Live

Aston Villa have lacked that energy and drive that they had in the first half. Ahmed Elmohamady will provide good delivery from the right-hand side though so I can understand that substitution.

    Norwich 0-1 Everton

Dominic Calvert-Lewin does well again, running powerfully and shooting hard but it's never going to beat Tim Krul.

Fuming I had to type that all out.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

Wow. Here we go! FIVE SUBS all at once.

Odion Ighalo, Scott McTominay, Daniel James, Juan Mata and Andreas Pereira are on.

Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes are all off!

    Norwich 0-1 Everton

Everton send on striker Moise Kean and he wastes no time, clattering someone and being booked before almost getting on the end of a good ball from Alex Iwobi.

    Eight minutes left.

  7. Seven year wait for a United hat-trickpublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Man Utd 3-0 Sheffield United

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

That is the first Premier League hat-trick since Robin van Persie scored his famous three-timer to clinch the final title of Sir Alex Ferguson's incredible reign in 2013.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic did score one in a Europa :League game.

United are making five substitutes at once now.

Anthony Martial is the first Manchester United player to score a Premier League hat-trick since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

Since the 2013-14 season, 21 different clubs have seen a player score a hat-trick in the competition before Martial's today...

  10. 'Too many changes for Norwich'published at 19:37 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Norwich 0-1 Everton

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on MOTDx Watchalong

Everton have made one change from the game against Liverpool but Norwich are almost treating this like a pre-season - they're brought different players in, giving them a half. It's really surprised me.

  12. Postpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Norwich 0-1 Everton

Norwich haven't looked like scoring other than that close call to an own goal. Duncan Ferguson is trying to program in the numbers board which is pleasing.

Better - Teemu Pukki plays a cracking return ball to Emu Buendia but Jordan Pickford - not Henderson - makes the stop.

  13. CLOSE!published at 19:35 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa

How has this not gone in?

It's a cross from the left by Villa but it bounces off the back of a defender (?!) and flies inches wide. How close!!!

  14. goal

GOAL - Man Utd 3-0 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Anthony Martial (74 mins)

    HATTRICK.

A stunning goal. It's patient build-up from Manchester United, who move the ball around so well in midfield before it comes to Anthony Martial on the edge of the box.

He slips it left to Marcus Rashford, sprints into the box for the one-two return, and chips it coolly over the on-rushing Simon Moore.

Wonderful build-up and a lovely finish. Shame there's no fans there to celebrate Martial's hattrick.

  15. 'Balance needed for survival'published at 19:34 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Norwich 0-1 Everton

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC Two

Norwich has always been a club that likes to play football but you've got to have a balance. If you don't have a balance you won't survive [in the Premier League].

  16. Postpublished at 19:31 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa

It's a blow for Villa's relegation battle. They are running out of time to pick up points. Luckily for them, Bournemouth are currently losing and West Ham remain within their grasp.

Any point here will be a big boost for Villa though.

  17. Postpublished at 19:31 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Wolves 1-0 Bournemouth

Adam Smith must have some sort of death wish, as he squares up to Adama Traore. Traore was unhappy with Smith's tackle but it looked fair enough to me.

They go head to head like a couple of prize stags but nothing comes of it. As you were.

  18. 'Too easy for Newcastle'published at 19:30 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa

    Neil Lennon
    Celtic manager on 5 Live

What a finish. It is a poacher's finish, he's done that his whole career. It was too easy. It came out of nothing - there hasn't been much activity in either box but Villa will now be regretting those missed chances.

  19. CLOSE!published at 19:30 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Norwich 0-1 Everton

So, so close to an equaliser! Norwich have a free-kick wide tight, the delivery is a good one, curling and bouncing horribly into the near post and Andre Gomes shins it inches away from his own goal.

  20. 'Norwich's most important team talk'published at 19:29 British Summer Time 24 June 2020

    Norwich 0-1 Everton

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC Two

    Speaking after the drinks break...

That has to be the most important team talk of the season for Norwich, to get some belief back into these players.

They're only heading in one direction if they don't respond to their manager now.
