    Cedric Soares

That is that as Arsenal surely wrap up a a big win over the Premier League strugglers, this time ex-Southampton man Cedric Soares marks his first Premier League game for the Gunners with a goal, powering home from outside the box after Norwich half cleared.

He'd only been on the pitch five minutes.

Should be 5-0! Valentino Lazaro smashes a fierce effort against the cross bar and the loose ball falls to Isaac Hayden, who somehow scoops over.

    Bournemouth 0-4 Newcastle

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is going to start to become damage limitation for Bournemouth. It is just getting worse and worse.

It's a well worked goal and it's a lovely run by Valentino Lazaro. It's just a cheeky left-footed dink over Aaron Ramsdale and it was just too easy.

  5. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 0-4 Newcastlepublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Valentino Lazaro

    A hammering!

Sublime football from Newcastle as Jonjo Shelvey and Andy Carroll play a one two to open up the Bournemouth defence before Valentino Lazaro strides through and fires home.

    Everton 2-1 Leicester

Kelechi Iheanacho has certainly made a difference to Leicester. He cuts inside a defender and gets a shot in but Jordan Pickford is right behind this one and makes the stop. Everton have a back five now, Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be glad there's no fans in so he can communicate with the rest of his side. The nearest man is a bus ride away.

    16 minutes plus change left.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:31 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

Double change for Newcastle as Isaac Hayden and DeAndre Yedlin replace Joelinton and Javier Manquillo.

Feels like everyone is going through the motions now.

Bresla: going to.go out on a limb here and say Norwich are down

Paul: Norwich play some good stuff. They've been better than us this half but have still paid for lousy defending with our 1st and 3rd goals. Sadly it's mistakes like that that are meaning they have lost tonight and will get relegated.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Mistake at the back again and Arsenal add a third!

Norwich had been playing well in this half but all that good work is undone as Josip Drmic passes the ball straight to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who coolly finishes for his second of the game.

  12. CLOSE!published at 19:24 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-1 Leicester

Oh and it should be 2-2! Uncertain again from Jordan Pickford as he goes up for a cross with Jamie Vardy, the livewire Kelechi Iheanacho is able to get there and hook it past Michael Keane, but then six yards out he slashes at the shot and slaps it over the bar.

    Big sitter!

Bournemouth had actually started the second half with more promise, but they’re surely chasing the impossible now.

Newcastle have been clinical, but the inquest will already have started into the manner of the goals that Bournemouth have conceded this evening.

A crumb of comfort for them is that the visitors have just taken Allan Saint-Maximin off. They’d found him unplayable at times.

  16. CLOSE!published at 19:21 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-1 Leicester

An hour gone, and Leicester dominating the possession now. James Maddison with some superb footwork to weave past a tackle on the corner of the area and get a shot in but it's charged down.

Can they find a leveller? Blimey, nearly!

Jordan Pickford misses an easy cross and Michael Keane bails him out with a clearance off the line!

West Ham v Chelsea (20:15 BST)

    Chelsea

David Moyes said yesterday: "In situations like we’re in at the moment, we need Mark Noble, because he knows what it means. He’s been there."

So he must be injured, right? Noble misses out for West Ham, who make two changes from the defeat at Tottenham.

Manuel Lanzini and Angelo Ogbonna come in.

Ross Barkley, who scored from the bench in the Cup at the weekend, starts as Chelsea boss Frank Lampard reverts to his league side. There are six changes in all.

    Full line-ups to come.
