    Arsenal 2-0 Norwich

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goal was his 50th for Arsenal, coming in his 79th game for the club. He's reached that landmark quicker than any other Arsenal player.

  2. Postpublished at 18:44 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

Harvey Barnes curls over but Leicester are looking very static up front. James Maddison will surely be coming on very soon at this rate.

  3. Postpublished at 18:44 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Arsenal 2-0 Norwich

David Luiz stabs away with Todd Cantwell lurking inside the Arsenal box as Norwich have a rare attack.

A goal before the break would give the visitors hope.

  4. Postpublished at 18:42 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

Marc Albrighton now sees a shot blocked. The visitors have had more efforts on goal and 65% of the ball but trail by two goals as we approach the interval.

  5. 'Tricky'published at 18:41 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The next four games for Bournemouth are really tricky. Then it's Southampton at home, and Saints' away form is great.

  6. CLOSE!published at 18:41 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle

A chance to get back in this for Bournemouth with a free kick but Arnaut Danjuma drives over the bar.

  7. Postpublished at 18:39 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle

    Chris Wise
    MOTD at the Vitality Stadium

Newcastle look full of belief. Jonjo Shelvey is dictating from midfield, while Allan Saint-Maximin’s second assist was impressive. The only blemish so far for the visitors is the injury to goalscorer Sean Longstaff who has walked straight down the tunnel.

You could change Newcastle’s shirts to that of Crystal Palace and be fooled into thinking you were watching BBC1’s offering from the Vitality Stadium 11 days ago. Bournemouth have been really poor.

  8. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 2-0 Norwichpublished at 18:38 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Granit Xhaka (37 mins)

A quickfire second for the Gunners.

This time Norwich are cut open down the left as Kieran Tierney finds space to deliver a low ball into the box and Granit Xhaka sweeps home.

The Canaries have a mountain to climb.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:38 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

Good chance, good save! Leicester have a corner that Everton don't clear, one volley is blocked, the ball is nodded back on and Jonny Evans is all alone with Jordan Pickford. He's on the stretch and tries to just nudge it past the England keeper, but he stands up and saves well.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:38 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle

A blow for Newcastle, and a boost for Bournemouth, because Sean Longstaff is having to go off with an injury. Miguel Almiron replaces him.

  11. 'I have to take my hat off'published at 18:36 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is such top quality play. I have to take my hat off to this type of dribbling ability by Allan Saint-Maximin.

Adam Smith has no idea which way he is going. He gets to the byline and to have the vision to see Sean Longstaff is brilliant. It's a superbly placed goal.

  12. Postpublished at 18:33 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

Brilliant centre-forward play from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, making something from nothing and controlling a bouncing ball in the centre-circle and then setting Alex Iwobi free.

He races into the middle and is begging for a return ball, but Iwobi doesn't get enough on it and Leicester can clear.

  13. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-0 Norwichpublished at 18:33 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (33 mins)

Oh, can't be doing that at the back!

Norwich keeper Tim Krul inexplicably attempts to turn Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and unsurprisingly makes an utter mess of it. Aubameyang steals the ball and rolls into the empty net.

Daniel Farke will be fuming with that error. Needless.

  14. 'Newcastle producing some decent football'published at 18:31 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You have to admire the weight and angle of pass by Allan Saint-Maximin.

That was a superb overlap from Emil Krafth and Newcastle are producing some decent football in and around the 18-yard box.

  15. Postpublished at 18:31 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

Leicester are still in this but at the risk of stating the blindingly obvious they really need the next goal. Michael Keane has to be on his toes to head out another very good cross, from Marc Albrighton this time.

  16. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastlepublished at 18:30 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Sean Longstaff (30 mins)

    Total football from Newcastle!

There's THREE players on Allan Saint-Maximin on the left but none of them can get close as he dances his way into the box before cutting back to Sean Longstaff, who drives home.

Newcastle flying, Bournemouth in deep, deep trouble.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

Nathan Ake heads away Javier Manquillo's ball into the box under pressure from Dwight Gayle as Newcastle hunt for a second.

Lovely, quick-passing football from the visitors so far.

  18. Postpublished at 18:26 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

Fabulous ball in from Dennis Praet, superbly whipped in from the right and it looks like Harvey Barnes is going to thump in a header but Seamus Coleman gets a telling little touch to turn it away.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 18:25 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

First yellow card of the game goes Bournemouth's way as Lloyd Kelly is booked for a late challenge on Sean Longstaff.

    Drinks break time.

  20. Postpublished at 18:23 British Summer Time 1 July 2020

    Arsenal 0-0 Norwich

Chance now at the other end as a lovely ball into the box is headed powerfully towards goal by Alexandre Lacazette but it is straight at Tim Krul.
