    Leeds exit the field to a mini standing ovation from the assorted board members and stewards who are in the ground today.

    As any fan of Leeds will know after some recent near-misses, it isn't over yet but that win, and the nature of it, was huge.

    Stoke 0-2 Middlesbrough

    Neil Warnock's reign as Middlesbrough manager begins with a win against 10-man Stoke City.

    That gives Boro a two-point gap on the bottom three and lifts them to 19th while Stoke slip to 20th and are a point off the drop zone as their five-game unbeaten run comes to an end.

    Birmingham 3-3 Hull

    Hull lost the lead twice in this six-goal thriller.

    The Tigers took a 2-0 lead at the break with goals from Josh Magennis and James Scott but Gary Gardner pulled a goal back right at the start of the second half and Daniel Crowley levelled it up at 2-2.

    Hull retook the lead through a smartly taken free-kick from Herbie Kane but it was Gary Gardner for his second of the game late on to salvage a point for Birmingham.

    Hull are now winless in 13 Championship games.

    Wigan 2-0 Blackburn

    With so many other sides near the bottom collecting points today, what a win this is for Wigan.

    Those two late goals from Lee Evans and Michael Jacobs could prove to be very important.

    Fulham's slim automatic promotion hopes are almost out of the equation.

    Leeds didn't have it completely their own way though - Fulham were more the better team for most of the first half - but clinical Leeds won through.

    A huge step on their mission to get back to the Premier League.

    Middlesbrough have taken off George Saville and thrown on Ryan Shotton against his former club.

    Just over five minutes of normal time remain for them to hold on for a valuable three points.

    Stoke need answers and they need them quickly if they are to give themselves some much-needed breathing space above the bottom three.

    Leeds are well known for not doing things the easy way so their fans could have been excused for having some nerves after their 2-0 defeat at Cardiff last week.

    It was far from a vintage first-half showing from the hosts today but after the break they've dominated proceedings and the picture at the top makes pretty good viewing now.

    Blackburn might be losing a bit of ground on the top six today.
