We've very much been concentrating on the major goings on at the top and bottom of the table this evening so haven't really mentioned the matches at Ashton Gate and The Den.

For the record, Bristol City are drawing 1-1 with Preston and Millwall are beating Huddersfield.

How are your nerves Forest fans?

James McClean taps in a deflected shot.

So, Forest and Swansea are both level on points but it needs a further three goal swing for the Swans if they are to overtake Forest.

    Swansea lead Reading 2-1.

    Josh Da Silva (73 mins)

Hello! They've not been at their best but Brentford are suddenly right back in it and now just one goal from the Premier League.

Josh Da Silva cuts inside from the right on to his left foot on the edge of the box and lashes a superb finish in to the top corner.

The Brentford players roar and race back to the centre circle... Game on again.

    West Brom 2-2 QPR

    West BromImage source, Getty Images

What drama we've had at The Hawthorns so far. West Brom were absolutely gutted to lose their 2-1 lead, but they're still second in the table.

In fact they'd still be second right now even if QPR took the lead.

    Brentford 0-1 Barnsley

As long as it stays 2-2 at The Hawthorns, Brentford could go up if they could score twice here against Barnsley.

But the Bees haven't been on their game tonight. They've not played like their usual selves.

Barnsley, meanwhile, have been superb and are staying up as it stands - unless Wigan find a winning goal against Fulham. It's so tense, all over the country...

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:56 British Summer Time 22 July 2020

    Wigan 1-1 Fulham

Wigan go so, so close to taking a 2-1 lead, but Leon Balogun's header is kept out by a superb reaction save from Fulham keeper Marek Rodak.

None of the three teams chasing the second automatic promotion place are winning.

    Could this get any tenser?...

Relegated as it stands: Charlton, Wigan, Hull

  12. goal

GOAL: Leeds 4-0 Charltonpublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 22 July 2020

    Jamie Shackleton (66 mins)

Perfect party piece this from Leeds.

They really have shown this evening why they've won this division by a canter.

Jamie Shackleton gets their fourth as he picks out the far bottom corner with a low shot across goal from the right of the penalty box.

Charlton's tilt towards relegation moves ever closer.

  13. goal

GOAL: Reading 1-2 Swanseapublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 22 July 2020

    Wayne Routledge (66 mins)

    The Swans retake the lead.

Substitute Wayne Routledge controls the long ball over the top before lifting it over the keeper on the volley.

    That was beautifully done.

They are now a point behind Nottingham Forest just outside the play-off places but need a couple more and Forest to lose though.

  14. goal

GOAL: West Brom 2-2 QPRpublished at 20:51 British Summer Time 22 July 2020

    Eberechi Eze (61 mins)

Another twist. On the counter, QPR level through a stunning finish from Eberechi Eze. He finds the top corner with a real beauty.

That means Brentford are just two goals away from promotion, if they can came from behind against Barnsley.

But the Baggies remain second for now... Game on.

Up steps top scorer James Collins to convert after sending it down the middle.

    Happy Hatters indeed.

    Ivan Sunjic (56 mins)

Birmingham City draw themselves level courtesy of a bit of a Wayne Rooney miss-hit.

He tries to lump a corner clear in his own penalty area and misses it completely.

Ivan Sunjic then latches on to it and fires in a left-foot shot on the half volley.

    West Brom 2-1 QPR

The Baggies are pushing for a third goal that might well be enough to seal promotion, if they can find it.

Callum Robinson has gone close twice in the past few minutes. He's been really lively tonight.

Blackburn go close to finding an equaliser from a well-worked free-kick.

Ben Brereton's delivery is to the back post but James Bree does well to head it clear for Luton and behind for another corner.
