What a perfect first leg for Wycombe and what a nightmare for Fleetwood.

This tie could already be a done deal even before its second leg begins.

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Charlton put in a last ditch block to deny Matt Smith as he works his way in to a pocket of space in the box.

That was close. Ben Thompson put a lovely low delivery in which had the Addicks scrambling.

  3. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:26 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

Five minutes being added on at the end of the 90.

Time for a fifth Wycombe goal?

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Millwall, who also changed Jayson Molumby for Ben Thompson at the restart, are currently four points off the play-off places if it remains goalless.

Charlton would be four points off the drop zone.

Couple more changes for Wycombe and it's officially BEAST MODE ON for the visitors!

Adebayo Akinfenwa comes on for Fred Onyedinma among them.

Meanwhile - play has to stop suddenly as a red smoke flare somehow finds itself thrown on to the pitch on that far side.

Where did that come from in a behind-closed-doors game?!

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:22 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

We are back under way at The Valley and I've got all my fingers and toes crossed for a better second half than the first.

Charlton make a change for the second period. Albie Morgan is replaced by Sam Field.

  7. RED CARD: Paddy Madden (Fleetwood)published at 21:20 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Fleetwood 1-4 Wycombe

    More fury for Fleetwood!

Paddy Madden thinks he's won a penalty for his side as he goes down in the box with Darius Charles for company.

Referee Tony Harrington first books him for diving and then as he continues to protest the decision to the assistant - he shows him a second yellow for dissent and that's your early bath young man!

Wes Burns still plugging away for Fleetwood wide out on the right but he gets a bit blinkered when played into space by Paddy Madden and goes for goal himself.

May have been better off holding it up for someone else in the middle as it goes high and wide into the empty terrace behind the goal.

Just under seven minutes to play.

Scott Kashket also gets a run out for Wycombe up front with Alex Samuel making way.

Looks like Samuel picked up a knock to his leg in a challenge after scoring earlier in the half.

Changes from both sides with 10 minutes or so to go.

Wycombe introduce Alex Pattison for Matt Bloomfield.

    Fleetwood 1-4 Wycombe

    OOOH!

Nnamdi Ofoborh almost executed his second lovely strike of the evening for another Wycombe goal.

Ball broke to him from a half-clearance by Fleetwood on the edge of the area and he backed himself to unleash the right-foot volley.

Not to be this time as it skews well wide. But he knows he should've done better.

    Fleetwood 1-4 Wycombe

Paddy Madden's first involvement for Fleetwood is to concede a petulant free-kick just outside Wycombe's penalty area as he loses possession.

Fleetwood just trying to hang in there as it stands and give themselves a slim chance heading into Monday's second leg.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

A tepid first half draws to a close at The Valley with neither side getting off the mark.

Quite frankly the highlight of that opening 45 minutes were when some fans let off fireworks outside the ground.

    Fleetwood 1-4 Wycombe

    Second-half drinks break complete.

Alice Cooper lookalike Gareth Ainsworth is maintaining a poker face but inside I'm sure he is grinning from ear to ear with how things stand.

    Fleetwood 1-4 Wycombe

Just seen a stat flashed up on television that makes this scoreline even more incredible.

Wycombe had lost six of their past seven away games before this fixture this evening.

What a time to turn your fortunes around!

Three minutes are added on at The Valley.

That's gonna be three very long minutes if it pans out anything like the rest of this first half..

  17. Postpublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Tomer Hemed turns and almost volleys a sensational effort from a tight angle to give Charlton the lead.

That comes after Millwall struggle to deal with a long ball into the box.

Meanwhile Deji Oshilaja goes into the book for a rash challenge on Millwall's Mahlon Romeo at the other end of the field.

Paddy Madden into the action for Fleetwood as a rather despondent-looking Paul Coutts makes way.

Still another 25 minutes plus stoppages to play in this first leg.

  19. Postpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

As we approach the end of the first half at The Valley, the tempo has calmed down a fair bit after a burst of action after the half-hour mark.

Neither side looks primed to get themselves in the dressing rooms on top, as it stands.

  20. Postpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Fleetwood 1-4 Wycombe

Close for Fleetwood from a direct free-kick at the other end but the swirling effort from Barrie McKay is tipped over the crossbar by Ryan Allsop.

Following corner comes to nothing for the Cod Army who look well and truly battered - mentally and physically.
