GOAL: Fleetwood 1-3 Wycombepublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    David Wheeler

Is that this tie over already?!

Wycombe with a third goal already and it's a very well-taken volley from midfielder David Wheeler.

Ball broke to him in space in the area after Fred Onyedinma's attempted shot from the left wasn't cleared. He struck it well with the time allowed to him and Alex Cairns couldn't keep it out.

Wycombe well and truly in control now.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Fleetwood 1-2 Wycombe

Another Fleetwood player in the book as Callum Connolly is booked for a very poor challenge on Fred Onyedinma.

That'll be another concern for Joey Barton and may well force him into another unexpected change for the second half.

A strong start for Charlton in the opening stages at The Valley as Millwall switch off at the back.

Macauley Bonne plays a low rolling through ball towards Tomer Hemed who unleashes a shot staight at Millwall keeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

    Fleetwood 1-2 Wycombe

Nasty looking moment here for Fleetwood's Wes Burns as he ends up over the advertising boards and in the first row of the stand chasing a ball that was going out of touch.

Back up on his feet though thankfully after a bit of a dust down.

    The ValleyImage source, Rex Features

We are under way at The Valley as Charlton take on Millwall in the south London derby in the Championship.

The Addicks could push further away from the drop zone with victory, while the Lions could mount a late push for the play-offs should they be victorious.

Will we have another cracker of a match on our hands this evening?

    Fleetwood 1-2 Wycombe

Tough tough ask now on Fleetwood with them down to 10 men - would've been an even greater task had that penalty gone it.

Wycombe giving them plenty of running around to do without the ball already.

Into the last five minutes of this first half.

Time for another twist in this one before the break?

Unbelievable action so far in this game and we've still only had 37 minutes!

  14. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Fleetwood 1-2 Wycombe

    Well, well!

Alex Cairns makes up for his earlier howler against Joe Jacobson by this time saving his penalty kick down low to his left.

He's also able to get back up in time to save the rebound too from David Wheeler's effort.

    Incredible stuff!

  15. PENALTY TO WYCOMBE, RED CARD FLEETWOODpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 3 July 2020

    Fleetwood 1-2 Wycombe

My word - this game just keeps giving us incident!

It's a Wycombe penalty now and red card to Fleetwood's Lewie Coyle!

It's a rash and late foul on Joe Jacobson as he looked to ghost past him just inside the box.

    No arguments there.

Just a little bit of calm to proceedings for the first time in this game.

Wycombe still asking more of the questions when coming forward though.

We haven't even had time to comment on what Gareth Ainsworth looks like and that's a story in itself!

I know he's been busy with his sideline career in rock music lately, but I thought it was Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott on the touchline for a second with the get up he's sporting this evening.

Halfway through the first half and time for a drinks break.

I'm not sure what the respective bosses, Joey Barton and Gareth Ainsworth, would have made of that.

Plenty to talk about I'm sure.

Wycombe's first goalscorer Nnamdi Ofoborh collects the ball inside the box but his low effort is deflected behind for a corner.

20 minutes gone. 20 very decent minutes.
