The Swansea defence scrambles to hook away a corner from Luke Ayling which dropped inside the six yard box.

It was an inviting delivery, and a surprise no Whites player managed to get a head on it.

Before kick-off, Stoke were sitting just one point above the relegation zone.

Yet their home form has been impressive of late, losing only two of their past 11 home league games.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:45 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Leeds

Swansea spark into action and Conor Gallagher bursts into the Leeds box.

He strikes at goal and Whites keeper Illan Meslier sticks up his left arm and touches the ball over the bar.

The ball was rising, but that one needed saving.

    Swansea 0-0 Leeds

Jack Harrison and Helder Costa get in each other's way as they both try and get on the end of a ball from Luke Ayling into the Swansea box.

Leeds have dominated since the restart, and the hosts are on the back foot.

  5. Postpublished at 14:41 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Stoke 2-0 Birmingham

The visitors will be encouraged by the fact that all of the first four minutes of the second half have been played inside Stoke's half of the pitch.

But the hosts will be happy to try and defend their deserved two-goal advantage.

Leeds have started the second half with much more purpose.

Patrick Bamford can't get a connection on a ball into the box from Luke Ayling, and then Kalvin Phillips sees a long-range drive hit teammate Mateusz Klich.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Stoke 2-0 Birmingham

Birmingham get the second half going and it looks like they've moved to a 4-4-2. Substitute Jeremie Bela has gone straight out to the right, wide in the midfield. Jude Bellingham seems to have gone to left midfield. Bela looks lively, straight away.

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Leeds

The game at the Liberty Stadium is back under way.

There's a double change for the visitors before the second 45 minutes.

Pablo Hernandez IS on for Leeds, and Gjanni Alioski is joining him.

Tyler Roberts and left-back Stuart Dallas are the men replaced by head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

  9. SUBSTITUTION (Birmingham)published at 14:37 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    HT: Stoke 2-0 Birmingham

Birmingham are making a half-time change, as winger Jeremie Bela replaces wing-back Wes Harding. That might well see the visitors switch to a more attacking formation.

  10. Postpublished at 14:32 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    HT: Swansea 0-0 Leeds

Aside from a burst into the box from Helder Costa, Leeds have been lacking creativity in the final third.

Head coach Marcelo Bielsa has the perfect man on the bench to turn to as he looks to unlock the Swans defence.

Pablo Hernandez has scored three of his seven goals this season on the road, and he's set up another four goals away from Elland Road.

How long will Bielsa wait to introduce the Spaniard while the game remains 0-0?

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Stoke 2-0 Birmingham

    StokeImage source, PA Media

The first half ends with a dangerous Jude Bellingham cross from the left being turned behind by the hosts' James Chester, who'll be a little relieved that he didn't turn that in to his own net. But there's the whistle.

At the break, Stoke will be very pleased with this scoreline and their performance.

As for Birmingham, who look very vulnerable at the back, they've now conceded 12 goals in their five-and-a-half games so far since the season restarted. What makes that more remarkable is that they started that off with a goalless draw at West Bromwich Albion.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Leeds

Goalless at the break in Swansea.

Swans keeper Freddie Woodman has saved from Stuart Dallas and Patrick Bamford, and the hosts have proved a tough test for the Championship leaders so far.

A point will move Swansea into the top six on goal difference, while Leeds have a four-point gap to third place as things stand.

  14. Postpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Leeds

Swansea spurn another set-piece opportunity, as Conor Gallagher's delivery from the left curls out of play at the far post.

Connor Roberts was trying to get on the end of it, but didn't come close.

  15. CLOSE!published at 14:19 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Stoke 2-0 Birmingham

Just as four minutes of added time are indicated, Birmingham miss a great chance to pull a goal back, with Wes Harding clipping over the bar from 10 yards out after a little scramble of bodies in the penalty area.

  16. Postpublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

Into three minutes of injury time at the Liberty Stadium at the end of the first half.

Can either side grab a goal before the break?

  17. goal

GOAL: Stoke 2-0 Birminghampublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Sam Clucas (45 mins)

Stoke double their lead just before half-time!

It's a lovely finish in to the far corner from Sam Clucas that gives Stoke a huge boost in their bid to avoid the drop.

He was given a bit too much room coming in from the Stoke left and he picked his spot perfectly with his right foot.

  18. Postpublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Stoke 1-0 Birmingham

In the past five minutes, Birmingham have got themselves in to decent-looking positions on three ocassions, but then have given the ball away each time.

Stoke are proving to be a tough nut to crack at the back so far today.

  19. Postpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Leeds

Leeds forward Helder Costa bursts into the box as he speeds past Swans centre-back Marc Guehi.

But Costa can't pick out a team-mate in the middle, sending his cross straight into the arms of Freddie Woodman.

The move came after Ben White had foiled a Swansea counter-attack.

The Whites are showing more urgency with the break approaching.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Leeds

Less than 10 minutes to the break and, there's another booking to report.

Swansea midfielder Jay Fulton is the latest name in Keith Stroud's notebook.

Heart-in-mouth moment for Leeds keeper Illan Meslier as he dives to claim a header on the edge of his six-yard box, but Andre Ayew gets in before him.

But the angle is against the Swans striker and the hosts can't make the most of the opening.
