  1. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

Aaron Mooy with another superb ball into the box from a free kick, it hits the back of Dan Burn and deflects just wide of the far post. Could have gone anyway.

  2. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

Danger for Norwich as Aaron Connolly gets into the box, cuts onto his right foot before curling an effort at goal but it is blocked by Timm Klose.

  3. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

It has been more than 400 minutes since Norwich last scored a Premier League goal.

You could pretty much watch Frodo go for a long walk with some mates, drop a ring off in some lava and get home again for tea and crumpets in that time.

Dan Bates: whilst good on the ball, Norwich have been so poor defensively and going forward, absolutely no final product, particularly since the restart. No plan B and I place that with Daniel Farke to be honest...

Andrew Reeve: Norwich, as always, trying to walk the ball into the net. Take some shots from outside the box for goodness sake!

  5. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

Back under way at Carrow Road. Will Brighton hold out for a win that will pretty much secure Premier League football next season? Or will Norwich find the goals they need to stay in the fight?

  6. 'No reason they are not playing'published at 13:33 British Summer Time 4 July 2020

Former Aston Villa & Man Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Either they have twinges or something has gone on on training pitch. When backs are against the wall, you play the players who can get you out of the mess. Pukki's goals, Cantwell... there is no reason at all why they shouldn't be playing.

Really chuffed we signed Aaron Mooy; not only has Maty Ryan got a fellow Aussie in the team, but he's been brilliant this season. Player of the year for Brighton and Hove.

Leicester midfielder James Maddison is doubtful after aggravating a hip complaint in midweek, but Ayoze Perez, Demarai Gray and Kelechi Iheanacho are all under consideration to start.

Defenders Ricardo Pereira and Daniel Amartey are long-term absentees.

Crystal Palace are boosted by the return of Christian Benteke after a two-match absence because of injury.

Martin Kelly has stepped up his fitness but remains on the sidelines alongside James Tomkins and Jeffrey Schlupp.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted at making changes to his starting line-up in order to give some players a rest.

Defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones remain injured, so teenager Ethan Laird has been promoted to the senior squad.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said he will need to check on the fitness of two unnamed players.

Leading goalscorer Callum Wilson remains unavailable as he completes a two-match suspension.

Better from Norwich just before the break.

Emiliano Buendia does superbly to somehow keep the ball alive on the edge of the box before squeezing a pass out to Onel Hernandez but his shot has the sting taken out of it by a block.

Two minutes of time added on at the end of the half.

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

Well, I think the thumbs down people from 12:06 BST may be correct. It has been the same old story for Norwich - lots of nice football but nothing in the final third.

Have been very impressed with Lamptey since the re-start. Looks a really good player.

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

Norwich are giving Brighton so much space down the right.

That's usually where Aaron Mooy has been causing damage but this time Tariq Lamptey is in loads of space as he found by Neal Maupay. Lamptey returns the ball to his team-mate inside the box but Maupay misses his shot. Let off for Norwich.

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

Have a player of Aaron Mooy's ability in your side and you always have a chance.

The Brighton midfielder once again plays a brilliant ball into the area, this time finding Leandro Trossard unmarked on the far side of the box but Trossard's first touch is poor and Norwich escape.

Onel Hernandez charges down the left, shows good footwork once again to cut inside but then swipes his shot wide.

    Norwich 0-1 Brighton

Norwich have lost all 19 Premier League games this season in which they have conceded first. They are the only team in the top flight yet to pick up a point from a losing position.

Noel Fitzpatrick: Norwich not going to get another point if their defenders continue with their social distancing from opposition attackers, not even close enough to get in a tackle.

Paul: That sums Norwich up. Actually been the better team so far and yet find themselves losing
