Fantastic finish! A trademark finish from Jay Rodriguez, it's very much a Burnley goal - win the first contact in the penalty area.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita are on for Liverpool. Neco Williams and Curtis Jones have done their jobs - very nicely too, particularly Jones.

Fabinho dinks it over to Roberto Firmino. His control is good and he tees up Neco Williams. The youngster fires it into a body of defenders and it's another corner to Liverpool.

Nick Pope comes charging out to grab it. Jurgen Klopp is preparing some changes...

Johann Gudmundsson and Matej Vydra are on. They replace Burnley duo Chris Wood and Erik Pieters.

Mohamed Salah makes a run into the box and is picked out by Joe Gomez but James Tarkowski tracks him all the way.

Salah goes down and appeals for a penalty. Referee David Coote says no and VAR agrees.

Johann Gudmundsson getting ready to come on for Burnley... He's getting some instructions in the dugout.

Andy Robertson whips another cross in from the left. It just evades Mohamed Salah but Sadio Mane nips in, beating Nick Pope to it and wins a corner off Kevin Long, who got an important touch on it.

The resulting set-piece is cleared only as far as to Neco Williams, who volleys it back towards goal. It's deflected to Mohamed Salah. He lashes at it and skews it way over.

Liverpool move it from left to right - Sadio Mane acting as the anchor - and Neco Williams sets up Fabinho.

He tries to curl it into the left corner but it takes a big deflection on its way out for a corner. Liverpool's 10th of the match.

Sadio Mane turns sharply on the edge of the box and gets a decent shot away but it flies just wide of the right post.

Cheeky! Jay Rodriguez manages to retain possession with a sneaky nutmeg on Fabinho. It's played over to the right but when it's crossed back into the box, Rodriguez is offside.

He's not aware of it yet and dives for the header, forcing a smart low save from Alisson to his right.

Much better from Burnley.

Josh Brownhill moves it on to Dwight McNeil, who tees up Jay Rodriguez in the middle. He's got a bit of space but would need something special to beat Alisson from there.

It's a comfortable save for the Liverpool keeper - but a decent break from Burnley.

Curtis Jones isn't shy of getting on the ball, he's moved around a lot, right to left, come deep for it. He keeps alive, keeps moving, always looking to get into space.

Phil Bardsley nips in and stops Andy Robertson on the left. It's quickly played down the wing for Chris Wood to chase but Virgil van Dijk turns on the burners, gets his body in front and lets it roll out for a throw-in.

Not much Burnley can do. Still only 1-0 though...

Curtis Jones is absolutely everywhere. You wouldn't think this is his first Premier League start. He's involved again as Liverpool move it around the box looking for an opening.

And he's there again moments later, driving an effort just wide of the left post.

He can afford to smile about it but he must be frustrated. Firmino did everything right there and finally beat Nick Pope but he can't score.

It's amazing that the main man in this team hasn't scored in the league at Anfield all season.

Mohamed Salah wins the ball back seconds after losing it and feeds it through to Roberto Firmino in the box.

The angle is tight but he gets a shot away and it dribbles just off the outside of the right post.

Liverpool look hungry, like they want those 100 points but Nick Pope has been sensational, he's kept Burnley in the game.

Virgil van Dijk plays a wonderful long ball over to Mohamed Salah, who would have been in were it not for an important touch from James Tarkowski.

Neco Williams' corner curls out of play before Nick Pope gathers it in.

Curtis Jones gets away from Chris Wood on the right but his flick won't reach Neco Williams, who then pulls back Dwight McNeil.

The free-kick is whipped in but doesn't beat the first man and the clearance from Liverpool comes back round to Virgil van Dijk, who will set Georginio Wijnaldum on his way.
