Cardiff City manager Neil Harris told Sky Sports: "Up to the first-half drinks break we were the much better team.

"We have to defend better for the first goal, we didn't lay a hand on him [Onomah].

"But there was no consistency [in refereeing decisions], but it is a great free-kick [from Kebano].

"I told the players I have been in play-off finals where I have been behind, the first goal at Craven Cottage will be key.

"There was a 2-0 deficit in the League Two play-offs, does not mean it will happen for us but ultimately we need to be positive."

  3. 'Still a lot of football to be played'published at 22:07 British Summer Time 27 July 2020

Fulham manager Scott Parker told Sky Sports: "I'm pleased with the result, we need to stay level and there is still a lot of football to be played.

"Overall we were outstanding, after a fast start where we were a little fortunate we fixed things a little bit.

"We had real control about us, caused them a lot of problems and Onomah's skill has come through.

"We still need work, that is part of developing as a team but I am seeing signs of that."

  5. Onomah and Kebano give Fulham advantagepublished at 21:52 British Summer Time 27 July 2020

    FT: Cardiff 0-2 Fulham

Scott Parker will be a happy man as Fulham take a two-goal lead back to Craven Cottage on Thursday.

Josh Onomah produced a moment of magic early in the second half, dancing his way past three statuesque Cardiff defenders before firing into the bottom corner.

Fulham were utterly dominant from that point, controlling possession to such an extent that Cardiff barely got a whiff of the ball, before Neeskens Kebano added a second in injury time with a beautiful free-kick.
