    Fulham are in total control.

At this point, you would assume Neil Harris is thinking about making changes.

After all, Cardiff have scored more goals from substitutes than any other team in the Championship this season.

Who could that be tonight? Danny Ward? Josh Murphy?

Whoever it may be, Cardiff need a spark from somewhere because they are being outplayed.

Fulham do ever so well, and that is a brilliant piece of individual skill from Onomah.

He has no right to waltz through there, and he has the composure to slot it past Smithies.

Harrison Reed has the chance to send a free-kick into the Cardiff box, but once again a Fulham set-piece is wasted as he overhits it and Alex Smithies gathers.

There has been very little between these teams so far in this game, but Josh Onomah had been impressive for Fulham even before that high-class goal.

He has delivered on the big occasion.

Fulham have the lead - and what a brilliant goal it is that breaks the deadlock here.

Harrison Reed feeds Josh Onomah on the edge of the penalty area, and he gets beyond Marlon Pack, Sean Morrison and Curtis Nelson before steering a right-foot shot past Alex Smithies.

That is fabulous from the Fulham man.

Fulham manager Scott Parker probably did not like what he saw in the opening quarter of this contest, but his team improved as the first half wore on.

The visitors were the side threatening as the break approached having had to focus on keeping Cardiff at bay in the early stages.

With the second half and the second leg to come, this play-off semi-final remains too close to call.

Cardiff got away with one, Cairney has scored a lot of goals from positions like that.

Hoilett gets caught on the ball, its squared to Cairney but you expect the net to ripple there.
