Joan Jordan claims there was a handball as he struck the free-kick - did it hit the arm of Bruno Fernandes? Yes. It'll be checked but he had his arm by his side in the wall.

United have nullified the threat down the left that Reguilon was bringing in the first half - and the reason is because Victor Lindelof is covering everything.

It's allowing Manchester United to play higher up the pitch and sustain their attacks better.

Sergio Reguilon goes down to his knees with the look of someone whose numbers came up in EuroMillions but remembering that he forgot to buy a ticket. In fact, he is upset that he gave away a free-kick thinking he'd won the ball cleanly.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford gets a yellow for throwing down the ball in frustration.

Even more confusing why man united sat back when they took the lead.

    Ben, Manchester

Never understood the negativity about Rashford, almost all from alleged United fans. How many goals has he scored this year?

Have a feeling Sevilla will score later on and punish United just like they did in 2018.

It's cleared and Sevilla break. Former Barcelona man Munir El Haddadi is found with a pass out to the left but he loses his feet and catches Brandon Williams. He goes down clutching his face, despite this time no contact from the Sevilla man.

    It's a free-kick anyway.

Herbert karima: Done everything but score. What do these keepers drink before facing MUFC, all having blinders

Ericccc: We definitely need to invest in a new left back. We can’t rely on Shaw because of injuries and Brandon Williams is just too inexperienced.

Stuart Mitchell: This second half already, has shown why United need an out and out forward. Should be out of sight by now.

Mason Greenwood is down on the edge of the area, but he's OK to continue. United now give away a free-kick after a strong challenge from Victor Lindelof.

It'll be interesting to see how Sevilla fare after those changes - dangerman Sergio Reguilon has barely had a kick in this half.

peter malath: Should be counting 4 goals in this second half already. This is unbelievable. It is like against a Great Wall of China.

Nathan House: United got away with the missed chances against Copenhagen, I can’t see them being so lucky tonight. Should have 4 by now

Ever Banega dallies too long on the ball 10 yards from the edge of the area. Anthony Martial pinches the ball, plays a one-two with Paul Pogba before his shot is blocked by keeper Yassine Bounou.

The brilliant Moroccan, nicknamed Bono, blocks another effort from Martial.

We keep hearing the same argument over and over about Rashford being wasted out on the left. But the fact is Martial and Greenwood are both better in the middle up front and are both better finishers

    Andrew

No one is ever going to convince me that Pogba is a world class player. Too inconsistent, and too much of a distraction. Needs to move on, with funds used to sign someone like Van der Beek, (as well as Sancho).

Unbelievable defending, quite brilliant from Sevilla, throwing their bodies on the line.

Bruno Fernandes is at the heart of everything United are doing well but United will feel like they should be a goal ahead.

If they can just tweak a few things and clean their play up in midfield, they can go on and win this game.
