We've got just five more days of David Silva being a Premier League player. Uggghhh.

Back up at Villa Park how the home side could do with a packed Holte End at the moment. A really lifeless display so far.

    Watford 0-4 Man City

    Manchester City

Man City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "A different competition, reality and opponent. But we did it today. We were so focused on ourselves so we didn't speak much about Watford. We can win or we can lose, it is part of the game. In your career as a football player you can lose more games than you win. But always we must finish the game, go into the locker room and say 'yes, I did everything to win the game'. When this happens we can be proud of ourselves."

On Raheem Sterling: "He is quality. But the personal achievements are always related to how we have done in the Premier League. We finished far behind the champions so that is why Raheem must not be happy for the season we have done in the Premier League."

On Phil Foden: "They play together. He has no need to replace anyone as he is a players of ours. Phil is a reality of our club and team and he is a player who can play alongside David Silva. Tomorrow and beyond he will be here and it will depend on his performances as to whether he has more minutes or less."

Over 60% of the ball from Arsenal so far. I was hoping for a gangbusting high tempo attacking start from Villa, fresh with the knowledge that a win would take them out of the bottom three. Not to be so far.

    Arsenal win a corner.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Arsenal

Fifteen minutes of tense football at Villa Park, to be expected I suppose. It's very edgy, stop-start, a lot of niggly fouls. Nobody having a decent chance as of yet.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Arsenal

Two of Arsenal's youngsters combine, Bukayo Saka pinging a pass at Eddie Nketiah, whose first touch takes him away from cover but he can't quite get a shot away and Tyrone Mings clears.

Right scrap that, some deep tissue massage has got Ahmed Elmohamady moving again and he wants to continue. Frederic Guilbert was seconds away from coming on, let's see if the Egyptian can run this off.

Ahmed Elmohamady plays an errant backpass which concedes a corner and may have also condeded his hamstring, He looks in trouble, stretching it out, though he is going to try and play on.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Arsenal

Bukayo Saka is left shaking his head in disbelief after conceding a free-kick, that open end-to-end first minute has now given way to a more tight affair.

Good ball down the right though to find Jack Grealish, his cross is cut out and John McGinn heads the second ball over the top.

    Watford 0-4 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City goalscorer Phil Foden: "We weren’t ourselves against Arsenal. The energy wasn’t there and that was disappointing but it’s good to be back on track tonight. We were back to being ourselves.

"Raheem [Sterling] is always in the right place at the right time. He has scored a lot of goals and is really enjoying his football. I’m sure he’ll be thinking about it [the Golden Boot].

"I feel good at the moment and I’m performing quite well. But I’ve got a long way to go to be a regular starter."

On Manchester City's final game of the season, against Norwich on Sunday, which will also be David Silva's last league match for the club: "It would be special for me to finish alongside David on Sunday. He’s a legend for the club and has done a lot for us."

Decent start from the visitors in their yellow away shirts - Alexandre Lacazette juggles the ball away from a man but is then fouled. The Gunners send men forwards and Conor Hourihane has to make a good clearance.

Aston Villa v Arsenal (20:15 BST)

Jack Grealish has been a bit subdued in the last few games I've seen him play - his side need a display tonight and no mistake. That Watford result, expected as it may be, must have given them a lift.

Villa could still need to win on Sunday as well of course. Or they could lose and stay up. The beauty of the last day of the season. If it stays like this West Ham could still go down, by the way. Though they do play Manchester United tomorrow.

Sunday's games all kick off at 16:00 BST and the three big ones at the bottom will be:

    Arsenal v Watford

    Everton v Bournemouth

    West Ham v Aston Villa

Here come the hosts! Jack Grealish is in discussion with Pepe Reina, plenty of geeing up going on.

Remember, a win for Villa and they are out of the bottom three going into the final day.

Arsenal will be guaranteed a Europa League group place if they win the FA Cup final.

To qualify through the league they need to win both their final games and hope for results to go their way on the final day.

And so we turn our attention up the M1, up the M6 to Villa Park. The sun is setting through the corner of two of the stands at the famous old ground.

Can Jack Grealish and co summon up a huge win to keep their chances alive?

    Watford 0-4 Manchester City

Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has lost on each of his last 13 starts against Manchester City in the Premier League, the longest run of losses by a starting player against a specific side in Premier League history.

He played well today - making six saves, including a penalty. Still got humped.
