    DRINKS.

Here's a look at the table as it stands. Watford head to Arsenal on Sunday and it's so, so tight down there now. Look at the goal difference.

Brilliant delivery again from Kevin de Bruyne.

Aymeric Laporte was not in an offside position and heads it in despite getting a tug.

This is big trouble for Hayden Mullins, he is scratching his chin and asking what do we do now?

    Aymeric Laporte (66 mins)

Nothing Ben Foster can do about this, the most basic of basic goals. Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick is whipped in and Aymeric Laporte is just one of about four City players free to head in from six yards.

Some admin to clear up - there was a VAR check for offside in the build-up to that third goal but Raheem Sterling was onside, and City then sent on Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riyad Mahrez.

With each goal that goes in, goal difference at the foot of the table becomes more and more important.

Watford's is now -26 and Aston Villa and Bournemouth both have -27...

Ben Foster is having the game of his life, he is making some brilliant saves.

Raheem Sterling gets the shot on target but the rebound falls for Phil Foden.

When your luck is going against you, the ball is going to fall for a blue shirt.

    Phil Foden (63 mins)

Ben Foster is unlucky again! Kevin de Bruyne's through ball is a beauty and sends Raheem Sterling in on goal. He's racing past the Watford defenders and is in for a hat-trick. Again, though, Foster saves his effort and again it falls for a City boot.

It is like we were playing Fifa 20. We knew what we wanted to do with the free-kick, we did it but Ben Foster makes the save.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 61 mins

    Watford 0-2 Manchester City

That is class from KDB though, bend and whip on a free-kick and Ben Foster does brilliantly again to make a one-handed save.

He's 37 but still a fine keeper - that's his fifth save of the day already.

Absolutely nervous for tonight, Villa vs Arsenal currently watching the Man City game, I don't think I'll have any nails left by 10pm tonight come on Villa, could also be Jack Grealish's last game at Villa Park, come on you lions, please put a fight in

Kevin de Bruyne has been a bit off his game again so far tonight, you can't be brilliant every week I suppose. His cross is tame and cleared as Eric Garcia has to make a tackle.

Dean Smith sticks with the same Aston Villa side which started the 1-1 draw at Goodison Park last Thursday.

Jack Grealish wears the skipper's armband once again but as speculation continues about his future, could this be his last game in a Villa shirt at Villa Park?

Aston Villa XI: Reina, Elmohamady, Konsa, Mings, Targett, McGinn, Luiz, Hourihane, Trezeguet, Samatta, Grealish.

Substitutes: Lansbury, Nakamba, El Ghazi, Jota, Guilbert, Nyland, Hause, Vassilev, Davis.

    Six changes for Arsenal!

Having seen his side book an FA Cup final place by beating Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta recalls Lucas Torreira, Rob Holding, Cedric Soares, Eddie Nketiah, Sead Kolasinac and 18-year-old Bukayo Saka.

Granit Xhaka and Nicolas Pepe are among those who drop to the bench.

Arsenal XI: Martinez, Holding, Luiz, Kolasinac, Cedric, Ceballos, Torreira, Saka, Nketiah, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Substitutes: Bellerin, Tierney, Papastathopoulos, Maitland-Niles, Pepe, Willock, Macey, Xhaka, Smith.

A rock and a hard place for Hayden Mullins. Joao Cancelo shows lovely feet to get away down the left for City but with men in the middle he goes for a ludicrous shot and blazes it over the top.

It is a real awkward position Watford find themselves in.

They are 2-0 down and if they get one back another could come quickly.

Do they push men forward and open themselves up and then have four or five goals going in towards the goal difference?

  16. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Watford 0-2 Manchester City

This could get ugly, fast. In the first half Manchester City had all of the ball but Watford were closing down the space and funneling them away from goal. Already in this second half when City move the ball there is space and time for their attackers. It's opening up, death by a thousand cuts (passes).

I'd like to think Ben Foster is more of a cup of tea man.

I hope Ben Foster has had a energy drink at half-time because he has already been called into action twice early in the second half.

Raheem Sterling hit it well enough but Watford have to shape up, they have some out really slowly.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 47 mins

    Watford 0-2 Manchester City

I tell you what Watford have got away with one there. That Bernardo Silva shot just after the restart was blocked by Adrian Mariappa, a few City players called for handball but nothing came of it.

And that's why - Mariappa saved it with both hands...

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 47 mins

Save again! Ben Foster has to get up brilliantly again to stop Raheem Sterling from bringing up a hat-trick with a deft lob.
