More from Jurgen Klopp: "We are champions - it's the truth. We won four trophies, big ones. I couldn't be more proud. Usually I don't need pictures with something but I will have a picture with all four trophies, it doesn't happen too often."

Klopp's message to Liverpool fans: "If you don't see that we do it for you I can't help you. You made us happy, we all should celebrate at home. Prepare for a party and when this &*$@% virus has gone we will have a party."

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson: "We've been waiting a long time. Walking up there was amazing, the lads deserved the moment tonight and thankfully the families were watching. To crown it off like that was really special.

"It makes it even more special after last season, it was hard to take. We reacted by winning the Champions League and we knew we had unfinished business.

"The Premier League has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. That's one of the reasons you come to Liverpool. It's been a process and a journey, it hasn't happened overnight. To finish it off this season like this has been really special.

"The gaffer brought a togetherness in the dressing room and that's made a difference on the pitch."

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to Sky Sports: "It's a great moment. It's all about consistency. We had to earn that, it's all about staying greedy.

"I can say in a pre-match meeting whatever I want - 'you want to win you have to work hard, Chelsea are too good'. I'm surprised myself, how can you put in a shift like that when you're thinking 'I want to be fine afterwards'.

"I was angry during the game and it was my plan not to be angry. I had a fight with Frank Lampard and stuff like this. You don't plan for this."

The most pointless trophy presentation I have ever seen, means absolutely nothing without the fans there.

So Henderson lifts the trophy in full kit, even though he wasn't playing (ala JT in 2012) Not a word said about it, because it's Liverpool. Congrats, but the bias towards them and their players is shocking.

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard to BBC Sport: "I can respect the quality of the game if you're a neutral, but when you play against Liverpool and their quality... until the first two goals I thought we were comfortable. We reacted and really contributed to the game. At 4-3 we looked like the one to get a goal.

"I thought we could draw the game because if you take out the isolated incidents of the goals... we weren't that far away tonight."

On Pulisic: "He's got huge quality. He couldn't play against United because of his injury. He's getting stronger and he's going to be a huge player for us."
