    Huddersfield 1-1 West Brom

Decent break again down the right from Chris Willock for Huddersfield.

He forces a corner after getting to the byline. Set piece poorly delivered and West Brom get it clear.

James Lynch: I reckon VAR would've ruled out that equaliser. Can't prove anything but the offside Diangana affected Lossl's judgement which meant his parry was straight back into the crowd and O'Shea nodded it in. Diangana did play a part. Come on Huddersfield and Brentford!!!

Daniel Stevanato: As an entirely non-biased Huddersfield fan, I think I speak for everyone when I say the liner has had a shocker in not putting his flag up for at least one, if not all three WBA players who were ahead of the last defender for that goal. Ramifications at both ends of the table.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Huddersfield 1-1 West Brom

It's Matty Phillips and Jake Livermore who have made way for the Baggies for Krovinovic and Grosicki.

Sign of intent from Slaven Bilic as they chase the win they need to keep themselves ahead of Brentford.

    And we're off again...

Looks like West Brom are about to make a double change with Filip Krovinovic and Kamil Grosicki getting readied on the touchline.

Cooks: Leeds fans aren’t the ones suffering right now. It’s Brentford fans - WBA win delays the inevitable for Leeds but takes it out of Brentford’s hands.

James: Amazing to think Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram & Snapchat didn’t exist when @LUFC, external were relegated. Now here we all are using social media to keep updated! I hope we get promoted tonight because it will alleviate so much pressure for Sunday!

So, in case you've not been with us throughout that first half - let's remind you what this scoreline could mean.

Firstly, if it stays like this, Leeds United would be promoted this evening.

Secondly, the point for Huddersfield would put them four points clear of the bottom three before the rest play over the weekend and they travel to play-off chasing Millwall on Wednesday evening.

    Tense.

    And that's the break.

A real momentum-shifter that West Brom equaliser from Dara O'Shea just five minutes before the interval.

Before that - Huddersfield were deservedly ahead after Chris Willock's early strike.

Will be a couple of interesting team talks taking place in the changing rooms soon.

    Huddersfield 1-1 West Brom

Been a very watchable game this one so far.

Much more open than a lot of Huddersfield's recent games I've seen since restart.

But remember as it stands - this scoreline would still be enough to see Leeds promoted tonight.

    Huddersfield 1-1 West Brom

West Brom buoyed now after that goal and they nearly work a move down the left for Hal Robson-Kanu to side-foot in.

Ball a bit too quick across goal from Matheus Pereira.

Into five minutes of stoppage time at the end of this first half.

Ritch Spence: It’s mind-blowing (mainly to face up to my age) that it was my last year of @UniofNewcastle, external that #lufc, external were relegated. So let’s get this done please Huddersfield!

I suspect all Leeds fans would have preferred not to see West Brom level just before the break.

West Brom are level just before half-time.

There's a degree of controversy potentially about it as well as a free-kick is swung in from the right.

Grady Diangana appears to be in an offside position as its delivered, but he doesn't seem to have affected the actual active play as Jonas Lossl can only parry it away low down.

But his stop falls straight into the path of Dara O'Shea running in at the back post to head in from close range.

  13. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

Big appeals this time from West Brom for a penalty.

Grady Diangana goes down under pressure from Richard Stearman (him again) and nothing gets given on this occasion.

Diangana would have potentially have been well placed for a finish as a header came back across the six-yard box.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 39 mins

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

Hal Robson-Kanu is booked for his part in an off-the-ball melee with Richard Stearman.

West Brom were breaking forward at the time it happened and it was the assistant who got referee John Brooks' attention as he had a better view of it.

    Tetchy stuff.

  15. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

Another good run on the break from Huddersfield's Chris Willock sees the space open up for him.

But, not for the first time, the final ball is missing for the hosts and West Brom can get back and reorganise in plenty of time.

Willock looks dangerous every time he gets the ball at his feet to run forward.

  16. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

West Brom looking a little sloppy and sluggish in their decision-making at the back.

Sam Johnstone in goal looks like he's about to give his defenders a rocket of verbals to gee them up.

Leeds fans and Huddersfield ones of course - won't mind seeing this one bit.

Ray Ransley: Leeds fan here praying Huddersfield hold onto this...

Nii: S. Bilic is too much a likeable person, and I bet most football people, like me, will love him back in the EPL. I have some soft spot for Huddersfield due to the university. So you see my dilemma. And oh, I live in Leeds.

  18. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

Plenty more time on the ball for West Brom as Huddersfield drop deeper off the ball.

But nothing in terms of a cutting through ball to open things up for the visitors to draw level.

A reminder if you've just joined us - this scoreline would see Leeds United promoted tonight if it stays like this at full-time.

Fraizer Campbell looked for a second to be benefiting from Romaine Sawyers over-playing the ball on the edge of his own penalty box but the Huddersfield forward can't quite keep his footing before striking a left-footed effort from distance.

Easily high and wide it goes.

Time for a drinks break and Slaven Bilic wants to get a message across immediately to reassure his players.
