Notts goalscorer Callum Roberts is booked as he ends a Harrogate counter attack with a cynical trip.

His goal has his team back in this final though.

In amongst that very dramatic start to the half I didn't tell you about Notts' double change at the break.

Jim O'Brien and Kristian Dennis are off and Enzio Boldewijn and Wes Thomas are on.

The Magpies have made the perfect start to this half.

You have to say, 3-0 or 4-0 would not have flattered Harrogate one little bit.

They've been dangerous at every opportunity. Every time they get the ball in the Notts County box, it looks like they are going to score. They have created chasms of space through the heart of the Notts defence.

That half is a nightmare from any Notts County player's perspective. But, football is a funny old game. It can still turn around.

That was one of the poorer halves of football in Notts County's season.

They will have to hope of producing a comeback for the ages, in the second half.

So far, so good for Harrogate.

An early George Thomson goal gave them the perfect start and Connor Hall doubled their lead from Thomson's free-kick.

As it stands Harrogate will be playing in the English Football League for the first time in their history next season.

George Thomson swings in a free-kick from a similar position on the Town right to where he set up the second goal.

A Notts player heads it away this time but there's more Harrogate pressure.

Heading towards half-time and I wonder what Magpies boss Neal Ardley will do at the break.

His team have had some decent moments in attack but are yet to force a save from Town goalkeeper James Belshaw and that has to change soon.

Notts County half clear a Harrogate free-kick but when the ball comes back in it eventually lands at the feet of Aaron Martin six yards out and he smashes his effort against the post.

Notts County enjoying a bit more time on the ball but when the attack breaks down there always seems to be space for Harrogate to play in.

Magpies boss Neal Ardley will be a frustrated man right now.
