Tottenham will be really pleased defensively, but how are they going to hurt Arsenal and get that goal?

Arsenal have to keep chipping away, keep playing those give and goes - but there are positives for both teams.

Off they go for a breather. We haven't seen many chances yet but we have seen a very well-drilled Spurs side give the favourites Arsenal a puzzle to solve in the second half.

I think Spurs' co-head coaches Karen Hills and Juan Amoros will be very pleased with their side's organised, tactical effort in this first half.

Usually free-flowing, Arsenal aren't having an easy evening at all.

Spurs' Rosella Ayane wants to know why they haven't been awarded a penalty for a little tug on her shirt from Katie McCabe. You've seen them given.

Spurs' Australia defender Alanna Kennedy looks hurt after a collision in the Arsenal penalty area at a free-kick, but it looks like she's going to be OK to carry on for now.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Arsenal have had a decent spell of possession, but a quick Spurs counter gives former Gunners winger Gemma Davison a chance to cross from the left. Her cross flies towards the far post but Rosella Ayane can't quite reach it.

Rain is pouring down in Borehamwood now and it might soon start to get quite slippy on the surface of the pitch.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Arsenal's Kim Little and Jordan Nobbs find little pockets of space really well and the hosts force a corner.

It's played short on to the edge of the area but Switzerland's Noelle Maritz misses the target.

You know Arsenal are going to have some possession of the ball but Tottenham have matched them.

They seem to know their roles and responsibilities and they are beginning to grow into the game.

Spurs' Canada defender Shelina Zadorsky is booked for a late challenge from behind on Vivianne Miedema and can have no complaints about that.

Spurs are pressing really high and Arsenal almost get themselves in to trouble, passing out from the back, inside their own area with keeper Manuela Zinsberger, but the hosts play their way out of danger really well.

In their two league games so far in the new season, Arsenal have scored a remarkable 15 times, beating Reading 6-1 and then 10-player West Ham 9-1.

But there have been no suggestions that we'll see such a one-sided scoreline so far in this game today. Spurs are growing in to it.

A good move down Arsenal's left - started by Vivianne Miedema - ends with Lisa Evans' low cross being blocked at the near post. Caitlin Foord was in there again, but couldn't quite divert the cross goalwards.

The Gunners have started brightly, and Spurs have shown some bright touches too at the other end.

It has been a good reaction from Tottenham since Caitlin Foord hit the crossbar. With 10 minutes gone they are settling into this game.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

These two sides met in the cup three seasons ago, when Spurs were a third-tier club, and Arsenal eased to a 10-0 win.

A lot has changed since then. Spurs have been promoted twice and nowadays both of these teams are both top-flight clubs.

The Gunners almost take an early lead but Australia forward Caitlin Foord's header loops on to the crossbar.
