    Arsenal manager Joe Montemurro believes the decision to resume this cup competition sent out a "very important" message for the sport.

    "The message that it sends from the governing body, and for the game itself, is that we want to still deliver an important product, we want to still deliver high-class football and high levels of football, and the FA Cup is that," the Gunners' Australian coach said.

    "It [shows] the clubs have a thirst and a desire to finish it, but also it's an important message for the game and for the FA, to say we believe it is an important tournament, we believe we have got to find a way to finish it."

    In case you missed it (if you did, honestly where have you been?) world-renowned United States forward Alex Morgan has signed for Tottenham, in one of the highest-profile women's football transfers England has ever seen.

    And I can tell you the two-time World Cup winner is on the bench for Spurs this afternoon. She's eligible to play straight away, after the club successfully obtained an exemption from the government so she didn't have to quarantine after arriving from the US.
