Ideozu-Frank Sampson: Leeds going toe to toe here. Could easily end 5-5 if it continues like this!

Damian Fogarty: The term 5 goal thriller usually used after 90 minutes not 30. Great game if defending not your thing.

Wayne Ellis: Not sure what’s happened to Van Dijk recently? His level of play, defensively at least, has dropped off considerably

Liverpool have been dodgy defensively since the turn of the year. They could do with signing a quality centre back to get some competition for places going.

My very first Liverpool game as a 10 year old was Liverpool 0-1 Leeds on Sun 9 April 1995. I think I'm right in saying that was the only home league game we lost all season. Needless to say was distraught! Hoping for better today!

What a game of football this is - unless you like good defending. There has not been much of that but there have also been some great finishes.

We'll all need a lie down at half-time.

    What is going on????

    Liverpool are back in front!!

Andrew Robertson knocks in a cross which Leeds defender Pascal Struijk heads away.

It is not the best of clearances, falling to the feet of Mohamed Salah 12 yards out.

The Egyptian takes a touch and laces a thunderous finish, via the crossbar, into the net.

The sound it made when the ball went in was so satisfying.

    Patrick Bamford

Best defender in the world, they said.

He may have scored at one end, but Virgil van Dijk has made a horrible error to gift Leeds another equaliser.

Jack Harrison lobs a long, hopeful pass forward, Alisson comes and stop and comes again.

By this time, Van Dijk sticks his leg out at the ball but cannot get enough purchase on it, presenting it straight to Patrick Bamford.

The Leeds striker sets himself and rolls a cool finish past the Brazilian goalkeeper and into the far corner.

Martin Ellis: Leeds are gonna have some exciting games… One end or another the goals are gonna be going in.
