Well done to all those nominated. The winner will be announced on Tuesday.
And a reminder of those Players' Player of the Year nominations...
That's all for now then. Thanks for joining us for the PFA award nominations and the England news conference. We'll be back later with live text commentary on Friday's Nations League games (19:45 BST).
Then England face Iceland on Saturday (17:00 BST) while the EFL Cup kicks off, along with the new WSL season.
Until then, I'll leave you with today's top stories:
As we all know, Micah Richards has a bit more than a soft spot for Manchester City having helped them win the Premier League title in 2012. So his selection may take you by surprise.
The last of the six nominees for the PFA Men's Player of the Year award is Sadio Mane.
The Liverpool forward's 18 Premier League goals in 2019-20 have earned his side 18 points - only Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (20) and Raul Jimenez of Wolves (19) have won more points with their goals this season.
That's all from today's Gareth Southgate news conference then, with the England boss saying he will "absolutely be looking" to recall Harry Maguire in October.
The Manchester United captain, 27, was withdrawn from the England squad last month after being given a suspended prison sentence on the Greek island of Syros.
Raheem Sterling finished the season as Manchester City's top goalscorer with 20 - the highest league tally in his career.
Liverpool's defence was marshalled by the imperious Dutch centre-half Virgil van Dijk, who was last year's PFA Men's Player of the Year.
With 33 goals conceded in 38 games, the champions had the best defensive record in the Premier League this season.
Just a reminder that earlier the PFA announced the nominees for their Player of the Year awards.

Iceland v England (Sat, 17:00 BST)
On using 82 players in four years, Gareth Southgate added: "It's a high turnover - I was surprised when I read the figures myself.
"But if we'd have had a lot of numbers and not the consistency in performances, it would be a different matter. The pleasing thing is we've kept experimenting, kept blooding young players, but we've kept winning. And you have to do that."
Iceland v England (Sat, 17:00 BST)
It was put to Gareth Southgate that - before this weekend's games - he's used 82 players since becoming England manager is 2016.
"We had a situation where a lot of players were coming towards the end of their international career," he said.
"Also in the last two or three years we've seen a lot of exciting young players come through who we believe we should be exposing to training with the team and working with the staff, and we haven't hesitated to put them in.
"Sometimes the right thing to do has been to put them back with the Under-21s for a spell, and then maybe bring them back in. Others have just stayed in and kept their place in the squad."

There's a few new faces in Gareth Southgate's squad - but which do you think should be handed their England debut?
Has Phil Foden done enough to start? Would you throw Kalvin Phillips in at the deep end in midfield? Should Conor Coady replace Harry Maguire in central defence?

Jack Grealish has missed a couple of days' training this week with a minor problem he picked up with Aston Villa but Gareth Southgate said he's in contention.
Iceland v England (Sat, 17:00 BST)
Gareth Southgate scoffed when asked if Phil Foden or Mason Greenwood would play.
"I don't think you'd expect me to genuinely answer that," he said. "But what I would say is that everything we've seen on the training pitch, I'd have no hesitation in starting any of the players that have been with us.
"That's why they're picked in the first place, but you're never certain how they'll adapt and fit in with the group. They're another two of a group of very exciting young players that are coming through the English system."
Iceland v England (Sat, 17:00 BST)
England boss Gareth Southgate said that not everyone in his squad will be fit enough to play two games in four days "but we've got enough who can".
"I've actually been really pleased with the level that the players are at. They're all very conscientious anyway. I think the days are gone where players come back for pre-season and they aren't in tip-top condition.
"We've got guys who only finished playing a couple of weeks ago. They've had a short break but are very much up to match fitness, so that [his players' fitness] isn't as big a concern for me as I thought it might have been."

Despite the unusual build-up given the coronavirus health and safety measures, Gareth Southgate said it wasn't the toughest training camp he's had as England boss.
"The preparation and planning for the camp - when we weren't sure of the injuries in pre-season, how far teams would go in Europe and the virus situation - that's been complicated, for sure," he said.
"But since we've been in camp and on the training pitch, the players have adjusted and adapted. We've got a lot of senior players who are used to training the way we train, playing the way we play. They're a great influence and welcoming to the lesser experienced ones coming in, but also the young ones coming in have no fear.
"They've adapted quickly and added to the level of training and competition, so we've really enjoyed the week. It's been great to be back."
Liverpool won their first league title in 30 years and captain Jordan Henderson led by example. The Reds won 90% of their 2019-20 league games in which their skipper played (27 of 30), compared to just 63% when he was out (five of eight).
The midfielder also claimed four goals and five assists. Not since the 2014-15 campaign, when he scored six times and set up another nine, has Henderson been involved in as many goals.
He's already been named the winner of the Football Writers' Association Men's Footballer of the Year award.

Doug: It is between De Bruyne and Henderson for the top award, I go for Henderson but I suspect De Bruyne to get the nod, with Alexander-Arnold winning the Young Players although I expect Rashford or Greenwood to be close.
Mason Greenwood is one of the newcomers to the senior squad and England captain Harry Kane was asked about Manchester United's 18-year-old striker.
"Mason's been great," he said. "Since the first session we've had you can tell he's full of confidence as a player. He's not afraid to shoot or take people on. That's exactly what we want.
"He's done great for his club, in the period after the lockdown especially, and it's great to have him in the team.
"People use the phrase 'natural goalscorer'. You work on being in the right place at the right time but some of it's just instinct as well. Looking at him in the short time that we've spent together, he has all different types of finishes, which shows a complete goalscorer where you can score in any situation."
Iceland v England (Sat, 17:00 BST)
Saturday's game will be England's first since winning 4-0 in Kosovo last November so Gareth Southgate was asked how that gap will influence his selection for these Nations League games, whether he would treat it as a fresh start and bring in all the newcomers.
"I don't think we start from scratch," he said. "Experience is important. You've got to balance leadership and international experience with with youth and energy.
"It's helpful to have those experienced guys in there when young players are coming in. But of course you've got to look at how people are on the training pitch and whether they're up to speed."
