  1. Player of the year shortlists

    Normally, the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) player of the year awards are dished out in the Spring.

    But with the coronavirus pandemic causing the Premier League to be suspended for several weeks, everything was delayed.

    Never fear, as we approach autumn, the award winners for the 2019-20 campaign will still be announced, and we will have the shortlists of nominees or you from midday.

    And in a Friday double header, we're also expecting to hear from England manager Gareth Southgate as his side begin their Nations League campaign this weekend.

    Exciting.
