  4. CLOSE!published at 25 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Man City

That's a lovely move as Kevin de Bruyne dinks one over the top of the Burnley defence and Ferran Torres is onside with only the keeper to beat after timing his run to perfection.

He lifts it over Bailey Peacock-Farrell - and the bar.

Midway through the first half. City have bossed this with 81% possession so far. Bailey Peacock-Farrell is doing a decent job keeping the holders at bay.

Charlie Taylor goes down inside City's penalty area. Referee Andre Madley has a long look at it before waving play on.

  10. 'Reaching the latter stages would be fantastic for Brighton'published at 19:20 British Summer Time 30 September 2020

Brighton v Man Utd (19:45 BST)

    Steve Sidwell
Former Chelsea midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

As a manager, you put out a team you think will win the game. Brighton are potentially three games away from being in the final and winning the competition.

If they can progress down this road and feature in a semi final or a final, it would be fantastic for the club.

  13. Postpublished at 88 mins

  14. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Man City

Fifteen minutes gone. City have had four attempts - one on target.

That was a terrific solo effort earlier by Raheem Sterling who evaded a couple of challenges before getting his shot away. Good save by Bailey Peacock-Farrell in the end.

  15. goal

GOAL - Newport County 1-1 Newcastlepublished at 19:16 British Summer Time 30 September 2020

    Jonjo Shelvey (87 mins)

Sorry Newport fans, I feel like that was my fault...

It's a brilliant goal. Jonjo Shelvey isn't everyone's favourite but when he does things like that he is top class. He gets the ball in a crowd on the left of the area, a dummy sees one defender go to ground and he just clips a curling, dipping shot across goal and in to the top corner.

  16. Postpublished at 85 mins

    Newport County 1-0 Newcastle

    Newport are so close now...

A reminder that IF Newcastle were to score we would go straight to penalties. No extra time in the Carabao. Probably the best thing about it.

  17. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Man City

Manchester City aren't messing around. Rodri has a pop from outside the penalty area and it's only just wide. Then Bailey Peacock-Farrell is down to deny Raheem Sterling.

By the way, that earlier chance by Sterling would not have counted. He was off-side but Sterling should have buried it.

  18. Postpublished at 82 mins

    Newport County 1-0 Newcastle

Another chance for Newcastle, another chance for Jacob Murphy. He can only knee the ball on goal though and it spoons into the grasp of Nick Townsend.

  19. CLOSE!published at 81 mins

    Newport County 1-0 Newcastle

Not for the first time today, superb defending from Newport keeps them ahead! Newcastle threaten to overwhelm them on the counter, Callum Wilson sends in old Bournemouth team-mate Ryan Fraser on the overlap and he looks all but sure to score - but Brandon Cooper makes a cracking recovery tackle.

  20. CLOSE!published at 9 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Man City

Riyad Mahrez is wearing gloves. It's still September for another five hours or so.

City are bossing the early exchanges and Raheem Sterling puts a great chance wide after a cross is whipped into the six-yard area.
