  6. 'Worst Man United performance for a few years'published at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2020

    Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 Man Utd

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa & Man Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was a really poor performance from Man United. I'm hoping Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will stick the players in a room and make them watch that performance and then say 'right what did you think of that?'.

There's just too much walking about, the body language isn't great from the players. I've seen individuals play very well and they look incredible but when they all perform to this standard they look a very poor side and they did tonight. The first half was possibly the worst performance I've seen from a Man United team for three or four years.

Ted: Contract extension for OGS surely! Building a team takes time & money, of which he’s had neither!

Roonie: It’s shocking that United fans would rather blame Pogba then just accept their manager is out his depth. Pogba under great managers at Juventus was unreal..

    Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 Man Utd

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa & Man Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

For 60-65 minutes Man United have been below par, they are so much better than that but Istanbul Basaksehir have been organised and defended well, very rigid, very honest and worked very hard.

It's difficult to find clear-cut, well-worked opportunities from united, they’ve all been forced or half opportunities.

CrabWithPincers: Even if they turn this round and the two #UCL, external wins so far don’t disguise that this United team are poor overall

Thomas: United still behind, with 10 minutes to go and the lack of intensity is frightening. Also, can someone please tell Paul Pogba there is more to football than unnecessary step overs then losing the ball.

Missing_constable: how can @ManUtd, external have a team ethic when their ‘star player’ publicly wants out, often goes missing in matches but a 1st team regular.
