    It is, as they say, the hope that kills you.

    For Manchester United, their results in Europe so far this season have been excellent with two very good wins from two.

    But that contrasts with a disappointing domestic campaign where United have managed just seven points from their first six games - their worst return since the David Moyes days seven years ago.

    Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are back in Champions League action tonight and, after a disappointing defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League last-time out, they will surely be determined to put on a show tonight.
