The first 45 minutes is something that Man United could've done without. They've started better in the second half but they've got nothing to show for it as yet, but there is still time. There are good players on the pitch but they still need to create chances to get back into the game. I can see players working a bit harder now, Paul Pogba sprinting more, that's what we need to see - a bit more urgency.

Final two changes for Manchester United as Mason Greenwood and Timothy Fosu-Mensah come on for Marcus Rashford and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Manchester United have won their last 10 away games in a row but it is going to take something special for that run not to come to an end tonight.

They are still plugging away but appear to be running out of ideas for ways to get through the defence.

Manchester United are passing the ball along the edge of the area but the centre of the Istanbul defence is just so congested making it really hard work for the visitors to break them down.

A lot of pressure for the hosts to withstand with just over 20 minutes remaining although Mert Günok has been relatively untroubled in the Istanbul goal.

Manchester United are working really hard to get the ball back and then losing it because they're trying flicks and tricks. Get hold of the ball, take a touch and find a team mate. They've started the second half well, they just need to force Istanbul Basaksehir to come out and find the players in the gaps who can really pick out the passes, like Paul Pogba.

Demba Ba tries to catch Dean Henderson off his line with a shot from midway inside the Manchester United half but slips as he shoots and the ball skims along the surface and harmlessly towards goal.

Rafael slides in to deflect Edinson Cavani's shot behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.

All Manchester United now with the visitors having looked much more solid this half.

Bruno Fernandes' drive has the sting taken out of it by a Martin Skrtel block. The ball loops up in the air but Mert Günok has plenty of time to get back and make sure it doesn't drop under the bar.

It has been better from Manchester United but they still need to be wary in defence as Edin Visca has a bit of space on the left. His ball is cut out before Irfan Kahveci skews a shot well over.
