  3. Postpublished at 21:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Sevilla (5-3 on aggregate)

Fifteen minutes left. Do Sevilla have anything left to challenge Dortmund's grip on the game?

  4. Postpublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Sevilla (5-3 on aggregate)

De Jong rises amongst a group of players in the box to meet a corner but heads the ball over.

  5. Postpublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Juventus 2-1 Porto (3-3 on aggregate)

Juventus' Adrien Rabiot shoots through a crowded penalty area and Agustin Marchesin, maybe unsighted, does well to keep it out.

You wonder what Mehdi Taremi will be thinking in the Porto dressing room. His red card, a really needless one, could have smashed his side's hopes of reaching the quarter-finals.

  6. Postpublished at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Sevilla (5-3 on aggregate)

Sevilla have livened up again. Suddenly they have the Dortmund box packed with men in white shirts.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Sevilla (5-3 on aggregate)

Yellow cards for kicking the ball away are all the rage. Oscar Rodriguez goes into the book for doing just that.

  8. Postpublished at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Juventus 2-1 Porto (3-3 on aggregate)

Porto have gone from 6-3-1 to just 6-3 following that Mehdi Taremi red card. Penalties is a long, long way away for them to hold on with 10 men.

  9. goal

    GOAL - Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Sevilla (5-3 on aggregate)published at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

    Youssef En-Nesyri

Now that is how you take a penalty.

Youssef En-Nesyri smashes it down the middle and in off the underside of the bar.

    Hope for the Spanish side.

  10. PENALTY TO SEVILLApublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Sevilla (5-2 on aggregate)

    Another twist.

Emre Can stupidly shoves Luuk de Jong to the turf in the box and the ref points to the spot. He didn't need to do it. The keeper had the cross.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Sevilla (5-2 on aggregate)

Felix Passlack on for Dortmund as Thorgan Hazard makes way.

  12. goal

    GOAL - Juventus 2-1 Porto (3-3 on aggregate)published at 63 mins

    Federico Chiesa (Juventus)

Juan Cuadrado has been a real threat with the quality of his deliveries all night and his excellent ball from deep is met by Federico Chiesa at the back post and he heads home past Agustin Marchesin.

If it stays like this, it will be extra-time.

Porto were loving life at half-time, now they are a man down and have conceded two. Juventus with 27 minutes and injury-time to find a third and avoid extra time.

Just imagine all those VAR shenanigans for the disallowed goal and then the two penalties happening with a full stadium? Most wouldn't have a clue what was going on. It would be chaotic.

Is that what they really wanted to achieve with the technology?

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Sevilla (5-2 on aggregate)

Luuk de Jong and Alejandro Gomez are on for Sevilla. Joan Jordan and Lucas Ocampos make way.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORK - Federico Chiesa (Juventus)published at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Juventus 1-1 Porto (2-3 on aggregate)

Federico Chiesa has scored one in the 49th minute, then Mehdi Taremi got himself sent off for Porto, now Chiesa has hit the post in a crazy eight-minute spell.

Chiesa knocks it past Agustin Marchesin and the ball bounces off the foot of the post and Chiesa, under pressure from Pepe, can't bundle it over the line.

  16. Postpublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Sevilla (5-2 on aggregate)

Ah, so Bounou gave Haaland a bit after saving the first penalty, so the striker gave it back for the second. Neither covering themselves in glory.

  18. Haaland record update...published at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Sevilla (5-2 on aggregate)

Haaland has now scored 20 goals in 14 Champions League appearances; the quickest a player has ever reached 20 goals in the competition, and in 10 fewer appearances than the previous record holder (Harry Kane, 24).

He has also now scored a brace in each of his last four Champions League appearances, becoming the first player to score 2+ goals in four consecutive games in the competition.

  20. RED CARD - Mehdi Taremi (Porto)published at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Juventus 1-1 Porto (2-3 on aggregate)

It's the most stupid red card you will ever see. Mehdi Taremi, the Porto striker, gets a yellow for a foul on the 52nd minute.

Two minutes later, he has the ball at his feet as the referee gives a foul against Porto. But Taremi then launches the ball downfield and he's booked for kicking the ball away, that's two yellows in three minutes and he's off.

    A disaster for Porto.
