Juventus 1-1 Porto (2-3 on aggregate)

Now Juventus are pumped up. Cristiano Ronaldo is trying to encourage his team-mates and Aaron Ramsey has a chance but can only head straight at Porto goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin.

Will Porto keep with their six at the back in an attempt to hold on? In the end, all it took was a ball over the top and a well-timed run.

  2. goal

    GOAL - Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Sevilla (5-2 on aggregate)published at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

    Erling Braut Haaland

After all that madness, Haaland has his goal. He slots his spot-kick past the diving Bounou.

He then ruins the moment by chasing in the ball and screaming unnecessarily in Bounou's face. It gets him a booking and prompts both sets of players to square up.

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

Oh my. Bounou moved early off his line in saving the penalty. It's going to be taken again...

  4. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

He is human. Bounou guesses right and saves the penalty before leaping to his feet to block Haaland's follow-up.

    But wait again...

  5. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

OK, so the goal is ruled out for a foul by Haaland. But Dortmund have been awarded a penalty. So Haaland has a chance to score again.

    Clear?

  6. goal

    GOAL - Juventus 1-1 Porto (2-3 on aggregate)published at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

    Federico Chiesa (48 mins, Juventus)

A ball over the top of the Porto defence, Cristiano Ronaldo who was anonymous in the first half, he collects the pass and lays it off to Federico Chiesa.

It's a lovely curled finish from him into the far corner.

A quick check to see if Ronaldo was onside, he was, and the goal is good. 1-1 on the night, Porto lead 3-2 on aggregate.

    Game on!

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Sevilla (5-2 on aggregate)

The referee comes to the screen to check on the goal, to see if Haaland has shoved over Fernando in scoring the goal.

He might also be checking on a penalty here. One that happened before the Haaland goal. It is for a shirt pull by Kounde on Haaland.

The penalty incident happened about a minute before the goal.

Juventus 0-1 Porto (1-3 on aggregate)

When Porto are out of possession, they are using a 6-3-1 formation. It might take something special for Juve to break that down. They need to do so twice and they've got 45 minutes to do it.

    Erling Braut Haaland

I mean, it is just ridiculous.

Haaland puts the tie to bed by bullying his way through a challenge or two in the box before finishing from a tight angle.

    But wait...

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

    Back under way in Germany.

Dortmund almost completely wrap the tie up with their first attack of the second half as Haaland sets up Hazard to fire just wide.

The assistant briefly put his flag up against Haaland, but replays show the striker had timed his run perfectly.

  12. Postpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Juventus 0-1 Porto (1-3 on aggregate)

It has been the quietest of matches so far for Cristiano Ronaldo, but with him on the pitch, Porto will still be nervous.

Some Ronaldo magic for the second half? Juventus certainly need it.

Juve are absolutely appalling, have they ever played a team who sit back in their lives before? Rabiot and Cuadrado need to be hooked at half time.

  15. PSG without Neymar for Barcelona tiepublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Paris St-Germain v Barcelona (Wednesday, 4-1 on aggregate)

Paris St-Germain have ruled Neymar out of the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie against Barcelona.

The Brazil forward missed the first leg against his former side, which PSG won 4-1, with a thigh injury.

"Neymar returned to partial training with the squad last week and will continue to work back to fitness individually," said a PSG statement.

Barcelona will be without defenders Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo for the match in Paris on Wednesday.

Pique sustained a knee injury in the Copa del Rey semi-final win over Sevilla on 3 March, while Araujo has returned to training after an ankle problem but is not in the squad.

  16. Fabinho to start for Reds?published at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Liverpool v RB Leipzig (Wednesday, 2-0 on aggregate)

Liverpool's Fabinho could start in midfield in the Reds' Champions League round of 16 tie against Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on Wednesday.

Fabinho had been filling in as a defender before a muscle injury ruled him out of four games in February.

He made his comeback in the 1-0 home defeat by Chelsea on 4 March before a substitute appearance in Sunday's 1-0 Anfield loss to Fulham.

"Having him back is good," said Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. "He missed the Fulham game from the start as playing two games [back-to-back] is dangerous in our situation."

The Reds' 2-0 victory in their away leg against Leipzig is one of only two wins from their past eight games. Defender Ozan Kabak is a doubt for Liverpool.

  17. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

To add yet another stat to the Haaland collection, he is now the youngest ever player to score in six consecutive Champions League appearances (20y 231d).

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Juventus 0-1 Porto (1-3 on aggregate)

Aaron Ramsey tries to lift a pass over the Porto defence for Alvaro Morata to run on to, but the away side's defence has held firm and they clear the danger.

And that's the half. Juventus with a huge task on their hands to turn this one around.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

Sevilla were on top for pretty much the whole half, but Haaland's goal means Dortmund have one foot and a few toes from the other in the quarter-finals.

Daniel: Hindsight is a wonderful thing of course, but Ronaldo's move to Juventus is starting to look like a big mistake. Staring down the barrel of a second last 16 exit from the CL and no longer a dominant force in Italy - not sure that's what he signed up for
