Mikel Arteta looks slightly pensive on the touchline. He may not have been demanding a goal by now but he would certainly have hoped his side would have worked the goalkeeper at least.

Eddie Nketiah tries to work his way through the Dundalk defence but he is closed out.

Reiss Nelson's shot bends just wide of the far post as Arsenal keep up the pressure.

    Arsenal 0-0 Dundalk

I always remember hearing Danny Cowley - ex-Lincoln and Huddersfield boss - talking about how he broke games down into mini-sections when his sides faced bigger teams and telling his players to see getting through each one as a success.

If Dundalk have the same approach they will be very happy with the first quarter of an hour. They've kept Arsenal at bay.

Andy Boyle gets across to stab away the ball from the feet of Joe Willock inside the box. Nicolas Pepe then hits the corner into the sidenetting. Poor.

First real effort for Arsenal but the sort of shot that Dundalk will welcome all day long as Nicolas Pepe lashes well over from outside the box.

    Arsenal 0-0 Dundalk

Nicolas Pepe looks to get away down the right but play is brought back after he is deemed to have handled the ball when first bringing it under control.

Almost 10 minutes in and the Gunners have not yet got a shot off on goal. So far, so good for Dundalk.

    Arsenal 0-0 Dundalk

Oh it seems Filippo Giovagnoli has now been allowed to take his place in the technical area for Dundalk despite his lack of a Uefa Pro Licence so that will be a boost to the visitors to have their manager watching on.

A good challenge prevents Eddie Nketiah from doing something with the ball when Nicolas Pepe's cross comes to him.

Leicester defender Wes Morgan to BT Sport: "I don't know what was said in the dressing room at half-time but AEK came out a different team and made us work for the three points.

"It was difficult for us in the second half but credit to our boys, we withstood their challenge and saw out the game."

On Wesley Fofana... "He's got great potential. It's a joy to see someone of such a young age performing at such a high level."

    Arsenal 0-0 Dundalk

What a start this would have been for the visitors!

Patrick McEleney has the ball in the middle of the Arsenal half, no-one closes him down so he tries his luck with a low strike from distance that Runar Runarsson pushes behind.

The Icelandic goalkeeper then catches the ball from the corner.

Filippo Giovagnoli, the Dundalk manager, isn't allowed on the touchline tonight because he doesn't have the Uefa Pro Licence so it is Shane Keegan, the club's scout, who is there in his place to relay instructions.

    Royal Antwerp 1-0 Tottenham

Jose Mourinho made a raft of attacking changes early in the second half and while they looked better going forward they didn't manage a single shot on target at all after the break.

In fact their last shot on target was in the 19th minute. It will be interesting to hear what Mourinho thought of his side's performance.
