  1. Mourinho praises 'perfect' Balepublished at 17:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2020

Royal Antwerp v Tottenham (17:55 BST)

Gareth Bale's approach was questioned by some in Madrid but Jose Mourinho says his new signing has been perfect.

"He is being quite a great example for everybody," Mourinho said. "A big guy like him, travelled to Burnley, stayed on the bench for 90 minutes, didn't play one minute.

"His behaviour as a team guy is incredible. His behaviour as a Tottenham man is remarkable and he is coming."

Leicester are not a fan of draws this season having won five and lost three of their eight fixtures so far.

They kicked off their Europa League group stage campaign with a comfortable 3-0 home win against Ukrainian side Zorya.

AEK Athens started this season with four straight wins but their form has been patchy of late with one win, one draw and two losses in their last four.

Hands up who remembers Gareth Bale's last goal in a Spurs shirt?

Manchester United were champions, Swansea qualified for the Europa League after winning the League Cup and some bloke called Mauricio Pochettino was in charge of Southampton when Bale netted the winner against Sunderland on 19 May 2013.

Bale has played 80 minutes since re-signing on a season-long loan from Real Madrid in September.

Will the four-time Champions League winner find the net in Belgium?

As I mentioned in my opener, Leicester haven't played an away game in Europe since 2017 when they lost 1-0 to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Searching through images of that game and the second leg got me feeling quite sad about the lack of fans, until the above popped up on my screen. This is even after I cropped the picture for the sake of public decency.

What an honour for Claudio Ranieri and co...

This is Tottenham's sixth and final game in what has been a near-perfect October.

Jose Mourinho's side have won four matches as well as scored 20 goals, with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min netting 12 between them.

The only blot was the 3-3 draw with West Ham, when they led 3-0 after 16 minutes before conceding three late goals.

Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is certainly relishing the return of European away trips.

"When you have experiences like that [of the Champions League] they are amazing but the flip side is you want more," he said.

"It's been a long road back to European football and we were hoping for the Champions League but you don't always get what you want.

"We're here in another amazing competition and these nights are different but they are what you work for. You hope one day soon we can get the fans back, that's the reason we do it, to have the fans able to travel to Athens."

European away nights. You just can't beat them and for the first time in three years, Leicester get to experience them again.

Tonight's trip to an empty stadium in Athens may not be quite the same as a trip to a packed Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid but for Leicester it is no doubt just good to be playing European football again.

Their last venture into continental club football saw them reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Now in the Europa League, how far could the Foxes' latest foray take them?
