    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal go close!

Ah but the flag is raised anyway.

The Gunners break forward from a Benfica free-kick and Bukayo Saka's cross finds Emile Smith Rowe, who shoots straight at goalkeeper Helton Leite.

Lovely stuff from Saka to create the opportunity. Get the ball to him!

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Neither side can really hold on to the ball at the start of this second half.

Benfica do find a way through, but Pizzi's low shot is light work for Bernd Leno.

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Plenty of the ball for Arsenal in the first 45 minutes, with almost 60% possession.

    Time to make it count.

This man should have had a goal in that first half.

Can Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang make amends for that horrible miss?

Steven Gerrard's Rangers are 2-1 down to Royal Antwerp at half-time.

Elsewhere in the Europa League last 32 tonight, Young Boys defeated Bayer Leverkusen 4-3, AC Milan drew 2-2 at Red Star Belgrade, Olympiakos beat PSV Eindhoven 4-2 and Roma won 2-0 away to Sporting Braga.

Goals, goals, goals. Apart from at the Stadio Olimpico...

  7. 'It's a terrible pitch'published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2021

    Slavia Prague 0-0 Leicester City

    Leicester City

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel speaking to BT Sport: "We always knew it would be tough coming here. It's a terrible football pitch so it didn't lend itself to playing good football.

"We wanted that away goal but it wasn't to be so worst case scenario for us was to get that clean sheet.

"I think everybody in defence played well but having Caglar Soyuncu back for us is really important. We played a physical side in tough conditions so lots of positives for us tonight.

"When we get back to the King Power, it's a better pitch and lends itself to us playing better football. I don't think either team controlled the ball well so I think it will be quite a different game at the King Power."

  8. 'Didn't get up to speed'published at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2021

    Slavia Prague 0-0 Leicester City

    Leicester City

Leicester City's Harvey Barnes speaking to BT Sport: "It was difficult. We didn't quite get up to speed in the game. We kept a clean sheet and defensively we were good.

"They are a physical side so we had to battle in that sense which I thought we did in spells. It will be a different game at the King Power so hopefully we can get the win there.

"It was a good battle. We knew they would go man-for-man all over the pitch but we had a few chances in the game and it didn't quite drop for us."

  9. 'I just chopped inside and hit it'published at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2021

    Wolfsberger 1-4 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs goalscorer Gareth Bale: "We had the mindset of coming to score as many goals as we could and get some confidence.

"Obviously we haven’t won many lately so it's important to get a win to breed confidence. Hopefully this is the start of a good run.

"It was good [to score]. I just chopped inside and hit it. It's nice to get on the scoresheet to help the team.

"It’s good to get four away goals. It’s always good to win a game by that margin. We’ll take the second leg like it’s 0-0."

  11. 'The last goal put almost a period on tie'published at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2021

    Wolfsberger 1-4 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho: "We had to come and play with ambition which we did. The score should have been more than 3-0 at half-time.

"In the second half we made that mistake that gave them life. There were some similarities with Everton. If you’re in control and make a mistake you give the opposition life and the game can change. In here it didn’t change. But the 3-2 was not far from happening.

"We had good control of the game. Lots of chances. I believe the last goal put almost a period on this tie. 4-1 away is a very good result.

"I don’t consider this an incredible victory, just a good victory that brings good feelings. By flying back the plane will be a different plane than after a defeat. Tomorrow morning in training, the same.

"We managed to rest a few players by not playing them 90 minutes - like Sonny only playing 45 minutes at 3-0."

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Would you take this result, Arsenal fans, or does an away goal feel rather important?

While the players are having their half-time oranges, here's some more reaction to today's earlier games.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45+1 mins

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Risky, risky stuff from Granit Xhaka, who plays the ball across his own box and Dani Ceballos has to step in to block Diogo Goncalves' shot.

Arsenal survive, and that's that for the first half.

Just one minute of added time to come.

  15. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Emile Smith Rowe is down and needs some treatment as Arsenal prepare to take another corner.

Relief for Mikel Arteta - he's up and walking again - meanwhile Martin Odegaard's cross comes to nothing.

  16. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Benfica are again frustrated in attack as Arsenal players swarm on the ball.

Equally, Arsenal can't get anywhere because the 'hosts' are so quick to get organised in defence.

    Story of the half really.

  17. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Emile Smith Rowe nips in after Jan Vertonghen had intercepted Hector Bellerin's cross, but Rowe's shot is beaten out for Arsenal's second corner of the game at the near post.

Benfica can't clear and Martin Odegaard dances past a couple of tackles before seeing a shot saved - any goal wouldn't have counted however as David Luiz was offside in the build-up.

  18. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

Three goals in the first half for Arsenal against Leeds on Sunday, but no such luck for the same XI as we edge towards half-time.

Weekend hat-trick hero Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should have put his side ahead by now though with the games one real opportunity.

  19. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

All of Benfica's good attacking play is going through Darwin Nunez but, between them, David Luiz and Gabriel are doing enough to keep him at bay.

Just one shot on target for either side so far at the Stadio Olimpico

  20. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Benfica 0-0 Arsenal

    As I was saying...

Darwin Nunez cuts in onto his right foot but slips as he curls a low shot towards the Arsenal goal.

The ball bounces awkwardly in front of Bernd Leno, who spills the ball but is eventually able to gather.
