That Diogo Goncalves free-kick, which ended up in the Arsenal net was Benfica's only shot on target in that first half.

Half time in this one and it's 1-1, just as it was at the end of the first leg.

Paul: Fantastic free-kick for the Benfica equaliser. What a strike. They deserve that to be fair.

  3. goal

    GOAL - Arsenal 1-1 Benfica (2-2 on aggregate)published at 43 mins

    Diogo Goncalves (Benfica)

A brilliant free-kick from 25 yards out from Diogo Goncalves with the ball curling over the wall and beating the despairing dive of Bernd Leno.

But it came from a needless foul from Dani Ceballos to concede the free-kick and it is very costly.

However, don't take anything away from the strike. That's 1-1 on the day, and 2-2 on aggregate. Extra-time if it stays like this.

Saka, who scored in the first leg and made the goal in the second is played through, and only has the goalkeeper to beat.

However, Helton Leite does really well to save it with his legs, although Saka would have been flagged offside if it had gone in, but the keeper was not to know that.

  5. Away goal for Antwerp...published at 18:35 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2021

Rangers 1-1 Royal Antwerp (Agg: 5-4)

    This tie lives on.

Jordan Lukaku flies down the left and his low cross is met with a deft flick from Lior Refaelov at the near post.

Rangers still lead but it could get nervy. Follow here.

How ex-Tottenham man Jan Vertonghen would love a goal against Arsenal.

He nearly gets it too, as a free-kick from the right goes over the head of David Luiz and Vertonghen gets his head to it, but can't keep the header down and it zooms over the top.

Matt Dawson: Who else would it be creating Arsenal's goals other than Bukayo Saka. He really is a brilliant talent, with a fantastic ball for Auba to finish nicely. Another couple of goals like that and the tie is done.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

A lovely, lovely goal. Bukayo Saka slides a reverse pass through, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang runs on to it and lifts a delightful finish over Benfica goalkeeper Helton Leite.

A quick VAR check to see if the Aubameyang run was well timed, it was, goal stands. Arsenal lead.

Matty AFC: Arsenal are taking far too long to bring the ball from defence to attack on the few occasions that Benfica break out to attack. That transition is where we miss Partey when he's not fit.

Partey's one of the options on the bench for the Gunners, after missing three matches because of a hamstring injury.

Paul Collins: I want us to beat Benfica but imagine if Benfica go out on the away goals rule. Be a bit harsh given neither team has actually played at home.

Arsenal 0-0 Benfica (1-1 on aggregate)

Kieran Tierney has been one of the bright spots for Arsenal in a tough season and the Scotland left-back makes a charge down the flank, but it is solid defending from Benfica's Rafa Silva who matches him stride for stride and wins the ball with a nicely-timed sliding challenge.

Arsenal's Granit Xhaka then tries his luck from 25 yards out and, despite the ball bouncing just in front of the goalkeeper, Helton Leite dives forward and grabs hold of it.

Granit Xhaka plays a diagonal ball for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to chase into the corner and he gets there just in time.

The Gabon striker runs at a defender, produces a couple of stepovers to create some space, but with no pass on he goes for goal and it's comfortably dealt with by goalkeeper Helton Leite.

Arsenal 0-0 Benfica (1-1 on aggregate)

Benfica, opting for a high press, have Arsenal pegged back in defence in the early stages.

Diogo Goncalves makes a burst down the right wing but team-mate Adel Taraabt clatters into Gabriel from the square ball and the Gunners are awarded a free-kick to end the danger.

Tarrabt needs to be careful from now on as he's shown the first yellow card of the game.
