  1. CLOSE!published at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2021

Arsenal 2-2 Benfica (3-3 on aggregate)

Gabriel (the Benfica one) nearly finds a third for the Portuguese side after some unconvincing defending from David Luiz but the strike just goes wide.

A nervous moment for Arsenal as Benfica would've finished the game off if that had gone in.

Arsenal 2-2 Benfica (3-3 on aggregate)

Despite both legs of this tie being played on neutral grounds, this game is classed as Arsenal's 'home' game.

An exit from Europe on away goals, when both sides have played away from home twice, would be a tough one to take for Arsenal, but they are the rules.

Suddenly those misses in the first leg for the Gunners are looking very costly indeed.

    Kieran Tierney (Arsenal)

Hope for Arsenal, but they need another.

Substitute Willian makes an instant impact as he is free down the left wing, pulls it back for Kieran Tierney and he takes a few touches to set himself and drills an arrowed shot into the corner.

Benfica are still heading through as it stands though, on the away goals rule.

I told you the first leg was good but...

Both sides score again in a matter of minutes at Ibrox. First Ryan Kent grabs a seventh of the tie for Rangers but then straight away the Belgian side pull another back.

Thomas Stockting: How on earth can you try and flick the ball back to the keeper from there WITHOUT LOOKING AROUND YOU. And now we bring on Willian. Time to switch off and go back to work.

Time for Willian to score a couple and save the day for Arsenal.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 63 mins

Arsenal 1-2 Benfica (2-3 on aggregate)

A bad day for Dani Ceballos, at fault for both goals, and he's hooked by Mikel Arteta. Willian replaces him, with Thomas Partey also coming on, with Emile Smith Rowe also going off.

    Rafa Silva (Benfica)

Disaster for Arsenal and it comes from their own corner. Nothing wrong with Martin Odegaard's delivery from the left, but it is expertly claimed by goalkeeper Helton Leite.

He quickly launches it down field and Arsenal's Dani Ceballos, who gave the free-kick away for Benfica's first goal, produces a shocking attempt at a header back as last man, Rafa Silva races on to it, takes a touch past Bernd Leno and walks the ball into the net.

Arsenal need to score two or they are out.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 19:11 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2021

Arsenal 1-1 Benfica (2-2 on aggregate)

Arsenal are having a lot of possession at the start of the half and that sees Benfica make three substitutions.

On come Darwin Nunez, Everton and Gabriel with Haris Seferovic, Pizzi and Adel Taarabt coming off.

That means both sides have a player called Gabriel on the pitch. Just to confuse us.

We need Partey on now. Sadly not to improve our chances of scoring but to sure up our defence a bit by controlling the midfield. Benfica have started the second half much better.

    Jan, London

Luke: That was half an inch and only took a few seconds to confirm offside with that Benfica dangling foot. Why does it take five minutes in the Premier League. It was not a clear and obvious error by the ref and linesman to call Auba offside. Can we have Euro refs in VAR box please.

  10. A goal in 16 secondspublished at 19:03 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2021

Rangers 2-1 Royal Antwerp (Agg: 6-4)

What a goal that is! And what a start to the second half.

Nathan Patterson only came on at half-time and the right-back powers in an angled drive to once more put Rangers on track.

  11. DISALLOWED GOAL - Arsenalpublished at 50 mins

Arsenal 1-1 Benfica (2-2 on aggregate)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has the ball in the net after a great Martin Odegaard pass through the middle of the Benfica defence.

Aubameyang flicks the ball past Helton Leite but had just gone slightly too early and is flagged offside, with VAR then confirming it.

Close to his second goal of the game, but not to be.

Daniel Smith: What’s the point in all this possession when we’ve had two shots on target.

Ben Ashton: Get the feeling Arsenal are going to seriously pay the price for missing all those chances in the first leg.

Couchman: I don't think Arsenal deserve to go through. Benfica are stopping us scoring and are taking what they can. It's working.

Sorry for appearing to be a petty referee however, was there not an opposition player closer than one yard to the Arsenal defensive wall? If so.... that should've been an indirect free kick, AND checked by VAR.

Arsenal 1-1 Benfica (2-2 on aggregate)

That was Benfica's first goal direct from a free-kick in the Europa League since February 2014.

Nicolas Gaitan, remember him? Well he was the last Benfica player to notch from a free-kick in the competition, against PAOK.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:44 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2021

Rangers 1-1 Royal Antwerp (Agg: 5-4)

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos does 'a Di Canio' - but maybe not in the way you'd expect.

Antwerp defender Jeremy Gelin pulls up with a hamstring injury as Morelos broke away down the wing, he had men in the middle but sportingly stops the play.

Some of his team-mates are not too impressed! That's the half.
