We have not talked about Manchester United in an attacking sense because they keep giving the ball away cheaply.

Manchester United came flying out of the blocks against Manchester City and were rewarded for that high tempo start with a goal. In comparison, their start to this one has been more like a countryside ramble than a 100m foot race. Yet to get going.

Abdul: Two goals in the net already but it is still 0-0. Magic.

Jake: Are we sure it was ruled out for handball? It was a blatant foul throw!! How has no one mentioned that!

Manchester United were magnificent on Sunday. Sometimes when you come off the back off a performance like that you want to keep playing but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows the squad better than anyone else.

At the business end of the season you have to follow up big performances with big performances.

Elsewhere Rangers have gone a goal down.

Manchester United are yet to wake up, though, as they fail to clear their lines properly from a free kick and the ball back into the dangerzone is just out of Fikayo Tomori's reach.

That's two disallowed goals for the visitors now.

Both were correct but Manchester United were pretty slack in allowing the chances.

They need to sharpen up.

It was too easy. That was so poor from Manchester United. It came from a throw in. He just took a touch past Matic and volleyed it.

Manchester United had enough players around there. They all backed off and the goalkeeper had no chance.

I'm not sure that's a handball. I thought that was very harsh.

It has been ruled out!

Franck Kessié is adjudged to have handled the ball when he brought that throw under control. Very, very tight call but it is ruled out and a big let off for Manchester United.

Hang on... VAR is having a check for a possible handball. There could be a reprieve for Manchester United here...

An ambitious effort from Rade Krunic, who has a pop from 25 yards but the ball flies comfortably wide of the Manchester United goal.

Ten minutes in and it has been a pretty even start.

Anthony Martial gets a shot off on the turn but Gianluigi Donnarumma does well to push the ball over for the game's first corner. Alex Telles swings the ball in the whistle goes for a foul inside the box.

Tonight's team sheet has Mason Greenwood playing through the middle and Anthony Martial on the left and Dan James the right. but Martial started there.

Instead, Martial is down the middle, with Greenwood on the right and James on the left.

Apart from that, spot on.

I really don't like that rule. He was clearly offside. When it is so obvious they should just put the flag up.

AC Milan have the ball in the back of the Manchester United net through Rafael Leao, who races through on goal and finishes confidently but the flag goes up for an earlier offside.
