AC Milan 0-0 Manchester United (1-1 on aggregate)

A fine run at one end of the San Siro, and now another one at the other end.

AC Milan's Theo Hernandez goes on the charge, but United captain Harry Maguire does well to stay with the run and get a vital foot in as he was about to strike.

The whistle goes. The Dinamo players and staff go wild. What a night for them. They've earned it.

It is an absolutely shocking one for Tottenham. How did they manage to blow this?

Lee: I don't care how much it costs us, Mourinho has to go after tonight. This is beyond a joke.

Angelo Lambo: at this point, I’m honestly happy when we lose just so that there’s a higher chance of Mourinho getting the sack.

Spurs are becoming a laughing stock now. Mourinho out now or it will downhill for us

AC Milan 0-0 Manchester United (1-1 on aggregate)

A bright, direct run from Daniel James straight at the heart of the AC Milan defence. He tries to out-sprint Fikayo Tomori, but the England defender, on loan from Chelsea, does excellently to get his studs on the ball with a risky sliding challenge in the penalty area.

James wants a penalty, but doesn't get it, nor does he deserve one.

Hugo Lloris keeps Spurs just about hanging on. He dives at the feet of Orsic to prevent him going round him and slotting home.

Siff: Jose has to be done after this passive & timid display and after Sunday, he cannot do anything with this squad. Let Ledley manage vs Villa and replace Jose over the international break.

    SACK MOURINHO NOW!!!!!!!!

80 seconds left. Spurs pushing forward. 11 Dinamo men in their own half.

Oh, Eric Dier has fouled his man going for a header. Stupid thing to do.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 Tottenham (agg. 3-2)

No rush from Ademi, who saunters off as slowly as he can to be replaced by Dino Peric.

There are two minutes of extra time to go.

AC Milan are just starting to get their passing game going. Manchester United had the better of the opening exchanges but Soualiho Meite and Franck Kessie - who were very good last week - are just starting to dictate the play.

    Chances! Big ones!

Lo Celso swivels in the box and fires a low shot that Livakovic pushes away. It is good save, but he tops it moments later.

The ball falls to Kane in the box and he fires on target but the home keeper flings himself across the goalmouth to deny him.

Just look at the way the home side celebrate that!

  14. Rangers go a goal behindpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Rangers 0-1 Slavia Prague (1-2 on aggregate)

    Current status...

    Arsenal - through.

Tottenham - in trouble, in extra time.

Manchester United - need a goal.

    Rangers - losing at home.

Steven Gerrard's side have just fallen behind against Slavia Prague, who knocked out Leicester in the last round.

It's a header from Peter Olayinka that has given the Czech side the lead at Ibrox and they now have a 2-1 aggregate advantage, but there is still 75 minutes to go in that one.

Gareth Bale is dropping into his own half, picking up the ball and trying to quarter-back Spurs' attacks. The home side have men back and the bit between their teeth, though.

Bergwijn again looking to affect matters. Again he fails, curling a shot past the far post.

Mourinho is on his feet. Unless his side can deliver in the next five or so minutes, he has some very uncomfortable days ahead of him.

  17. 'Nowhere near our best'published at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Arsenal 0-1 Olympiakos (3-2 on aggregate)

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, speaking to BT Sport: "Really happy to be through. We had a tough opponent, so happy to be through. Sometimes we have to be fair with ourselves - we were nowhere near the levels we could be.

"We were unstable with the ball and we gave it away. It's impossible when you give the ball away to have any structure. We created enough chances to win but were nowhere near the levels in which we can perform.

"We can't use any excuses. We had fresh players in the side. We started the game really well but then we had a lack of stability. We need to keep the ball and play some passes together and not just keep giving the ball away in transitions.

"When we conceded, we did get better and got more control but with their goal, we gave them some belief, which you cannot give to the opponent. We'll get better. When it comes to decision-making and execution, it's a little bit more difficult.

"We need another win in the Premier League and it's a big chance after the international break to get a run together."

Reguilon and Bergwijn look to combine down the left to try to make something happen. They fail. It looks for a second like they might have a corner but the last touch was Bergwijn's.

Remember, this is a Zagreb side that lost its manager in the build-up to the second leg in unique circumstances. The local paper called for a miracle this morning. They've almost got it.
